We HIGHLY recommend this campground. If you enjoy watching freighters, you must stay at Aune Osborn. The sites have both water and electric. Unfortunately, they don’t have sewer, but there are two easily accessible dump stations that reduce the chance of waiting in line when leaving. The price is amazingly low and the views are fantastic! As a result, the sites fill up quickly so book as soon as you possibly can.

Great park with neighboring RV park next door. Marina is perfect to launch your boat and stay at the park. Nice bathrooms. Quiet, neighborly people and even dogs seem to get along here.

Spent 4 nights in our fifth wheel in site 72 & loved our time watch the freighters & lakers. Our site allowed us to pull in either way to afford the best views of the water, however most all other sites are back-in only. Campground is next to the boat launch & within walking distance to the Original Boat Tours. Laundry facilities were clean & reasonable.

The best part of this campground is the proximity to the river and ability to watch the large freighters traveling to and from the Soo Locks. Our campsite was of moderate size with water and electric. The campground is spotlessly clean as are the restroom facilities. It was quiet. No road noise, no rowdy people. The other campers were extremely friendly. We learned of the phone app. Marine Traffic so we could track or predict boat arrivals. We travel with dogs and they were also welcomed. The only downside was the lack of shade trees and privacy.

For the price, this is a wonderful campground. Sites are spacious & bathroom & laundry well maintained & clean. Of course the view of the boats is the best part of being there. I gave a 4 because of the inconvenient locations of water spigots & electric posts. Bring an extension & an extra water hose, we needed both! Also, don’t expect reliable Wifi unless you are right near the office. Oh, be sure to download the Marine Tracker app to use while you are there.
