Not as bad as some of the reviews say! I was a little hesitant after reading them far after booking. But! It is a very nice park! The owner is beyond respectful and the crew is constantly working! The sites were well sized and taken care of. The playgrounds were fun for the kids and the water activities are amazing! My only gripes? People definitely will cut through your site constantly if your creekside, actually got a little ridiculous! I thought no site cutting was a well known camper etiquette!? Not to blame the park in any way, just other campers. Speed limits are definitely not observed (as most places anymore) And quiet time is a joke when there's 20+ people partying well after said time! Again. I blame people, not the campground. All in all, its a nice place and would probably return, more during the week than weekend as thats when the ignorant come to play! And listen to the no cell service! 😂 Although I had no issues reaching home with the supplied wifi, don't expect much in internet capabilities.

Love this place. Very big. Favorite attraction is a floating Wibit inflatable course. Costs about $12/person per day and is open approx 12pm to 7pm/8pm depending on season. The Austin Lake RV Campground has various play areas, and offers primitive tent camping to whole season spots. There is an all day pass that includes using gokarts (no motor, just peddles), the Wibit, PeddleBoats, Kayaks and perhaps a few other minor things...oh, a long slide too. Bummer is that Peddle Carts (like a gokart/big wheel) is available between certain hours. So we always miss it because we hit the Lake up until it closes. Wish the Peddle Karts were not so hard to Peddle (it's great excercise) There is a snack bar that is good enough in my opinion. They gave us ice for our water bottles (there is a super simple older fountain next to the bathrooms. The bathrooms throughout the property are nice....except at Primitive Camping. Just 1 porta potty. Big bummer. Tent camping seemed expensive for having no ammenities. Showers cost $, yup! 50cents for 6 minutes. Plenty of time but it's super hot with no way to control. The world is going cashless and to shower ya need change. No change machine either. So bring quarters!!! The property does have washers and dryers. Great place to go!!!!

My wife and I just returned from Austin RV Park and we had an incredible time. The staff are amazing and very friendly, they even helped me get a pretty gnarly splinter out of my foot (my own fault). The site was wonderful, it backed up to a creek where we caught some crayfish, it had a nice large patio and plenty of space between campers, the full hookup worked flawlessly. The park is very well maintained with plenty to do. My wife and I did paddle boarding and played on the wibits which was a ton of fun, we felt like kids again. This was our first trip in our camper and we cannot wait to return, it'll always hold a place in our heart.

Had a great time, RV site was large and a large concrete patio. We purchased the $26 2 day package for activities and it was well worth the price. Good prices were reasonable. Campground is flat, kid and pet friendly. We definitely return.

Austin Lake is the perfect campground if you want to take your family including younger children someplace that everybody’s going to have a good time. It’s definitely a chance to unplug, especially since there is no Internet or television streaming. Be sure to bring everything you need. There is a camp store But it’s very small and the closest store outside of the park is about a 20 to 30 minute drive away while we stayed it seemed as if the electricity was in and out a couple times which meant no water or electricity for the full hook up sites. I would have given Austin Lake five stars, except for the lack of phone service and Internet.

Incredible family oriented park. Plenty to do from lake toys, boating and fishing to chilling in a cabin or taking a leisurely hike.

So much has changed for the better since the last time I was out here many many years ago. There is so much for families to do. The cabins are very nice. Nice and peaceful!!

This is a perfect camping place for families. This is a wonderful place for dad's teaching their sons to fish, boating, or just plain fun. You can do cookouts with the family or businesses. Try it once and you will want to go back. Ohh by the way there is a fee to get in(kin of gated area, but people have to work to keep it clean and organized). Don't worry though you will love it.

This is a beautiful campground. We camp here every year and the kids love it. The beach and the campground is always super clean and the staff is great. Many fun activities with inflatables to play on in the lake. Huge lake with alot of areas to fish. I want to say thanks for the many fun years and also for those to come. I can't say enough great things about this campground.
