Got a last minute spot, with a discounted rate for a 2nd spot for our other truck and utility trailer. They were helpful, friendly and the campground was clean, well lit and spacious. The spots were level and easy to access. Great experience

A super quiet campground. I would say it’s basically for travelers passing through and Mayo Clinic folks. And for that purpose, it’s perfect. It doesn’t have fire pits. Said they had a shower house which we saw and a laundry room which we did not see so that covers all the basics. Would definitely stay here if you needed it for those purposes. If you are wanting a recreating campground with social people, this is not the place for you. Everyone pretty much stuck to themselves and other than a hello didn’t choose to engage in conversation! And that’s fine. We were there wrapping up a couple indoor projects before closing our camper down for the season so the full hook up sites were perfect for that, and late into the season. The trees hung a little bit low. We had to watch for them. Site was level. We camped in a 36 ft 5th wheel. I would recommend this campground for the traveler passing through, it’s a safe and clean place. And the staff extremely friendly and helpful. You are right in Rochester so pretty much everything you want is at your fingertips

07/31: We stayed for a couple of days for appointments at Mayo. Have a little bit different feeling about the facility, was put in a drive through which was very difficult to get into. Not sure if he was an owner, but the first words out of his month, that my husband didn't make a big enough turn to get into the spot and if he damaged the under ground utilities we would never be able to stay there again. Was not great welcoming! Upper level, one site on top of the other. Lots unlevel. Almost was afraid to even walk the grass, for it might damage something. Looking at their monthly rates, ridiculous, for they have nothing to offer, except being close to Mayo. ‐------------------------------------- We haven't stayed there yet, (tomorrow 07/28) but dealing with them has been such a pleasure. I have had to change my reservations several times due to my appointments at Mayo. They have been more than great to deal with. Wish every campground was that accommodating. Looking forward to our stay!

Great family owned park that is easy to stay at especially if you are going to Mayo Clinic. Easy reservations. Super nice office staff that are very accommodating. Full hook ups back in or pull through. Bath/shower house with laundry available. Med City Transportation is one of the rides that will come to the campground and take you to Mayo or wherever you need to go. Call them for reasonable rates. Very quiet and restful, no smoky campfires. Every time I’ve stayed, other RV’ers have been respectful. Great place while you are in Rochester.

Stayed here in a 40 foot Super C while we had appointments at Mayo Clinic. Very clean facilities, super convenient location, and an efficient layout. Everything was well-kept! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Cleanliness of the campground is great, disappointed there were no fire rings but will remember that in the future. I will agree with the other reviews about the younger guy that runs the campground that he could be a lot more friendly and welcoming! The older gentleman that I talked to on the phone was really nice. In the future when I come back to this area, I will stay at a place up the road people said to in the other reviews!

Having been our “home” for at least two months while in town for Mayo Clinic, we can’t say enough good things about this park. Monthly pricing and the owner is very accommodating and flexible while understating we are at the mercy of the Mayo Clinic and their appointments. Our site was level and the owners were always maintaining the property from mowing to checking sites after people left. They really put a lot of effort in keeping the property and landscape maintained (even through changing seasons). The neighbors have always been nice and considerate. We’ve had packages delivered for us and done numerous loads of laundry in the coin operated laundry room. Very convenient to the Mayo Clinic, multiple car washes, Walmart and whatever else you need during your stay. Gravel sites with grass surrounding with asphalt patio and picnic table at our site. The neighborhood and area is quiet and feels safe. Highly recommend this park it’s convenient and quiet!

Basecamp while visiting family in Rochester. Friendly, welcoming, safe, quiet, full-service campgrounds. Large sites. Will utilize again in the future.

Beautiful RV location with good shade. No guest parking, however.

Positives: 15 minutes to Mayo. Nice park, clean areas, nice trees in some areas. Picnic table at sites. Negatives: super slow internet. Most of the time no one is in the office.

The lady we checked in with was great. Maureen was her name I believe. Site's are not very level. Used 2 boards under tires on one side of the trailer and Jack pads to level. Do not expect water either if below freezing even though they claim full hook ups. There's even heat tape on hydrants. No cable. Internet was sketchy. Trash can's are over flowing. Quiet park however. We had a pull thru premium site. 40' 5th wheel. Plenty of room for parking. Clean grounds and facility. Gravel lots. Only one shower had hot water. Seems expensive for what we got.
