J section with 50 amp power, no water or sewer. The bath house is incredible. Separate shower and toilet sections with individual doors on the showers. Always clean. The restroom only buildings are nice and clean. Deep sink for dishwashing. Plenty of biking and hiking trails. By bike you can explore local towns and eateries. Large hardwood trees for shade and grassy areas everywhere. Top notch campground and reserve. We stayed 7 nights.

First time staying at Baker Campground with the family (5 total, 3 kids ages 8/5/5) and we really liked it. We stayed on loop G which was a bit far from some of the amenities, requiring us to drive to the beach or playground but we were aware of that when we booked loop G. The beach was a great set up, sandy area with large canopies and close to shady trees and picnic tables. We got out fishing a couple times (on my friend's boat) and caught a bunch of panfish and it seemed like the lake would be great for all species but weather didn't cooperate for us to do too much fishing. The bathrooms & showers were clean and probably the best overall set up that I've personally used while camping. The playground is awesome. The bike paths are great. The staff working seemed friendly and organized. I can see why it books quickly and it'll be on our short list to consider for future years. Great experience!

Stayed in both loop A and Cabin 1. Staff fantastic. Campground quiet mid week, busy on Monday and Thursday-Sunday. Cabin was perfect for couple nights with rainy weather. Book early if you want a cabin. They fill up fast.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Baker Park Campground: Nature, Comfort, and Charm in Perfect Harmony Our stay at Baker Park Campground was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled beside the shimmering shores of Lake Independence, this park offers the ideal blend of wild beauty and well-maintained comfort. The campsites were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully spaced—giving us room to breathe and truly relax under the canopy of maple and oak. The park itself is a haven for nature lovers and birdwatchers. We were delighted by the variety of birds we spotted—everything from great crested flycatchers to red-headed woodpeckers—making every hike and shoreline walk an adventure. Trails are easy to navigate and offer gorgeous views of the lake and surrounding prairies. Amenities like clean restrooms, hot showers, and even electric hookups made camping feel easy and accessible, without sacrificing the peaceful ambiance of the outdoors. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated how quiet and respectful fellow campers were, even on a busy weekend. Whether you’re pitching a tent, parking a camper, or just day-tripping to enjoy the beach or trails, Baker Park delivers a near-perfect Minnesota camping experience. Can’t wait to return for another stay beneath the stars.

Great affordable campsite with many amenities! Our campsite was clean and clean. The bathrooms are real bathrooms that are extremely clean! No water everywhere like most camps. They have an area to clean dishes, get camp wood, nice bathrooms, lake to fish/swim with a beach and more!

Beautiful park! Lots of trees and lawns. Dog friendly. Unsure if any of their RV sites have water hook up. Ours did not, so plan ahead. There was a hose near the restrooms to fill water containers.

This campground is fantastic and has everything we needed. Great walking paths, bikes for rent, immaculate bathrooms and shower houses, a beach, play ground, large camp sites, recycling and composting bins, and very friendly staff. We had a perfect stay. During our stay we went out on lake Minnetonka, Paisley park, and to the state fair. The location was close enough to everything we wanted to do with still having the camping experience. We rented bikes and rode around Katrina lake. Would definitely come back and stay longer.

Went camping here for the first time and it was nice. But I feel I was so close to other people camping around which was fine but it didn't feel like camping. We also just happen to go when it was raining on Saturday and Sunday so we didn't get to rent any boats to use. They have firewood at the office for people to buy. Staff was friendly and they provided us a paper map of the campground. Bathrooms without the showers could be better but it is what it is when you go camping.

Great campground with nice facilities. Lake, beach and lots of trails to walk and bike on. They also have 5 cabins that you can rent, with electricity, small screened in porch, fire pit, picnic table, lights and a ceiling fan. Lots of big RVs here too. They also rent bikes and sell firewood. Ohh I almost forgot..they sell ice cream where you check in.

Loved this campground! Plenty of beach space to play. The new playground was awesome, and the kids had a blast there. Very unique activities and two zip lines. Our camp sites were good sized with light to moderate tree cover. Fire pits had the flip grates for cooking, which is nice. There is a water station near the entrance so you can fill your tank on arrival. There are also TWO dump stations when you leave! My only complaint is that backing a camper in was a little tough. It took a couple tries to get the angle and placement right due to the confined space. The roads felt narrow, and the gravel pads could be a little bigger. I watched several others struggle getting in as well.
