We were heading south and after two weeks on the road stopped here to do laundry and go shopping. I had some repairs to do on the trailer and had parts delivered here from Lippert. There was a restaurant here, Crest Bar and Grill, and we were looking forward to it. But last week got an email that they were permanently closing. I would say it was branding and marketing that did them in because they got great reviews. Must have been popular because several camp sites were labeled as parking for restaurant only. There is a small store here in the office. Staff were very helpful, though the person who helped me was new and gave me bad directions to my site. Pool is nice, did 6 loads of wash. Restrooms are clean and this was the best shower I'd had on the road in a long time. Though they are small, about 2' x 2'. Wife said it was difficult to shave her legs. There is a gym but they need to open a window. Roads are paved but pads are all dirt, though mostly level. They don't have propane here which is a little unusual for a KOA, I was counting on filling up here. Also no cabins here which is even more unusual. Place never got above 20% filled. Probably part of the reason why the restaurant closed. Winds picked up unexpectedly the 2nd day as did a huge dust storm. So we stayed an extra day and went shopping at Costco and Winco. Our first site (185) was under some 40ft palms and our roof was getting pummeled with palm seeds and fronds. So we asked to move. I was a little put off when I asked for a specific site and they told me I couldn't have it, when 80% of the place was empty. But they gave us another site (196) and it was fine. I think it is just their policy of not allowing customers to pick sites. Despite the fact that most everything was empty they still could not let me pick. I consider that petty. Note, the site I asked for was never filled before we left 2 days later. Their rules say that you are not allowed to work on your RV, nor go up on your roof. But you can hire a local repair company to do it. Makes me think they are getting kick backs. I had to replace a landing leg on my 5th wheel but fortunately didn't get harassed. There is a dog run way back in the north/west corner of the property behind a building. Just dirt. Not as nice as some we've seen. There is some grass that gets mowed in between sites, but they don't really maintain it otherwise. You get some noise from the freeway and the train but not too bad once you button up and turn on the tv. I consider $67 after my KOA discount to be a bit high for a dirt site. So, for me, this would just be a one-night port in the storm for laundry. We camped at Bakersfield KOA Journey in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice campground. On site restaurant was decent. Grounds are clean and well kept. It was a bit noisy with the cars and their loud mufflers, but it did quite down. All in out, not a bad experience.

The grounds are NOT up kept. The power box and water faucet has webs with black widow spiders. The area has weeds with stickers not allowing the kids to play outside. The host recorded on my profile that I was not respectful of their visitor parking policies without ever talking with me from a previous stay. Overall, I did not feel welcomed nor will I ever come back to this KOA site.

We have been traveling now for over 90 days and all through the lower 48 Canada and Alaska. We're on our way home to Southern Nevada. Late over here. This is by far the nicest RV park we've stayed in on our entire trip. The grounds are well kept. Rebecca in the front is just an amazing, friendly and helpful gal. All the staff is very accommodating and friendly. Really enjoy having the restaurant and lounge on the premises. You know even have to leave here. Got everything you need.

This is a spacious campground with various hook-up and pull- in options for all sizes of RVs. Very nice pool, on-site restaurant, laundry, and small playground for younger children. I liked the many trees and grassy areas.

Good overnight stop. They have plenty of long pull-thru sites and are an easy on/off the freeway. Of course they have the normal KOA facilities like a pool, store, etc. There is a Costco and Love's nearby.

We came in for what was supposed to be one night and ended up three due to truck troubles. Staff is very accommodating. We had a beautiful site. All of the sites are clean and well-maintained. We were very comfortable the whole time for our stay. The pool and hot tub were excellent. The pool is heated or at least it was warm. There is a gate that closes at night which secures the park, which we appreciate we will definitely be returning. It fills higher end than a journey. I guess the only reason itās not a holiday is because of maybe activities? Thereās a restaurant on site. We didnāt try that because we brought all of our own food. Felt comfortable walking the dog at night. This is probably one of my favorite KOAās.

What a pretty spot! We loved the pool, the bathrooms were clean, and the grass and palm trees were lovely.

We arrived right before the office was supposed to close but no one was there. We picked a site from the list and spent the night. At 8:30 the next morning we were very rudely told we werenāt allowed to be at that site because we have children even thought this was not mentioned. I was under the understanding that KOaās are family friendly. We were told on several occasions we were breaking rules. We are a very tidy and respectful family and have never had issues at any other campground ever. The rules we were breaking were absolutely ridiculous. Not having towels on our chairs, not allowed a Blackstone on the table, just to name a few. It was also dirty everywhere and there were lots of cockroaches. I will absolutely never be back because of the office staff.

I usually love KOA's and although it is clean there was no table at our site just a concrete pad. Trains go through all night blasting their horns and on the other side of our back in big dogs that barked off and on during the night! The trains sound like I could reach out and touch it as they went by!!!! No sleep tonight š

Very nice KOA, nice pool, pleasant crew, great Crest restaurant on site, quick lane oil change was a block away for my F350 diesel at a reasonable price, and Camping World is also nearby with all the parts youāll ever need... The 24hr laundry though has no coin machine so its realy only 9-6 while the front desk is open. Dryer #9 ate quarters with no results, one washing machine was leaking water, the hot tub timer switch is broken, and the lift locks on the gates are too high for short or disabled people to open. The Wi-Fi was slow and fickel, and the KOA rules specify you canāt work on your RV!.. sorry but Iām ALWAYS working on my RV). Still a very nice place.

Top notch place. Clean. Sites are pea gravel and level. Sires are spacious. Staff are great. Restaurant on site. Pool and spa are nice. Not too expensive. Awesome.

Nice place. Gates get closed at night. No gate code no entry. Just a little more money than other RV parks in the area. Offer a discount for the month but gotta have all your paperwork In order(registration and tags)

The Crest restaurant - excellent local restaurant that is a hidden gem. The menu has traditional American fair with quality and portions being top notch. Service is good and prices are reasonable.
