Nice, clean campground with a peaceful pond. Sites are all gravel, and not particularly level. Sites are also pretty narrow & navigation thru the campground is tricky due to narrow drive lanes & trees. Otherwise has all the amenities & full hookups. Person doing the registration was very pleasant.

This was a small privately owned campground off 44 a bit though relatively quiet for being so close to the expressway. We had a nice sie, level across from a pretty small pond, close to the bath and shower house. I had a problem with the automatic lock but called the contact number and had it resolved immediately. I did my workout in the pavillion area which was off the campground a bit and private. We enjoyed our stay here and would come again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The campground is tight for larger rigs, smaller rig would be just fine. If traveling with 2 or more where someone could be a spotter that would help.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ballard’s Campground! Our kids spent hours every day at the catch and release pond. We caught at least 2 dozen fish during our 5 day stay. Our kids also loved pickleball, basketball, and volleyball this week. The bathrooms were clean and pleasant to use! Showering was refreshing and a good experience, thankfully! The store was reasonably priced for when we did need a few things and the staff was really friendly! Our entire stay was amazing! We had the best spring break week. Thank you Ballard’s!!

Ballard’s RV Park was great. The staff was beyond helpful and accommodating. The park itself was clean, well maintained and easy to maneuver in and out of with our camper. I can’t say enough good things about our stay with them.

We travel to MO from ND every 2yrs for the GBATS truck show. In the past we stayed at a different campground & while it was nice, we were there really only to sleep. That other campground was full this year & they referred me to Ballards & I’m so glad they did! This campground was more than a place to park our 5th wheel…it was an amazing experience! From the beautiful views, large drive thru site with a patio/ grill/firepit, peaceful walks to the doggie park, or a stroll to the pond to watch the fish….you will definitely fall in love with Ballards. We experienced a bit of car trouble one morning & needed a couple new batteries for our pickup. The RV park manager came to the rescue & drove to nearest NAPA for us; wanting absolutely nothing in return for his time & trouble. You could tell that managing the park was not just a job for him, he was very passionate about sharing his love for the campground & making sure our visit was his top priority. We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Ballard’s Campground! The park has clearly been beautifully restored and you can feel the care that went into every detail. The management is outstanding—friendly, professional, and always quick to communicate, which made our stay stress-free. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The location is perfect, offering both peace and accessibility. What started as a short visit quickly turned into a longer stay because we felt so welcome and at home here. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-run campground. We were traveling thru, had an issue with some flat tires on our camper. We couldn’t go to the destination that we planned for the night! The very nice staff got us in here! It was clean. We may not have stayed long but we did think it was great for us! It will be in our list of places to go!

Nice, easy to access place for my 1 night stay when passing through. Everything worked as it should and my check in was easy peasy. Price was in line with what I expect for 1 night stays. The only downside for me is that with a 40' fifth wheel, the rear bumper scraped on the hill next to the office upon exiting. Not horribly, but if you can take a different route out I would advise you to do so.

This park is one of the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen. Fit with amazing amenities and beautiful spaces. It’s a joy to visit the cabins here or sit at the pond! The rv spaces are so nice and they do well at making you feel like you’re integrated with nature. Crosse Gregory - Operations Manager

We stayed at Ballard's Campground for one night while on a multi-state trip. We called the office to inform them that we would arrive late. We got clear instructions from Debbie on what to expect upon arrival. We were pleasantly surprised to see the spot we booked was so beautiful! It's right next to the pond, and we could hear the frogs and other nightlife making noises before we retired for the evening. We will have to come back when we can stay longer!
