Bar Harbor RV Park was in a great location and the campsite we had was right on the water. We really couldn’t have asked for a better location. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The problem we had with the park is that it seemed overall a little rundown and unkept, especially for the location. Also, like so many other RV parks these days, there were a lot of “full time” RV’s living there long term. I understand that it probably helps to pay the bills but it just adds to the overall unkept feeling of the park.

Flying bugs are incredible. Uneven ground should be taken care of. During breakdown I had to maneuver myself around a big puddle to unplug my electric.

The front desk was extremely friendly and very helpful. The answered the phones pretty quickly. Site was clean. Although the block of concrete with the 2 metal peices sticking out holding the fire pit down I think was very dangerous.

We stayed in our RV with tow. Our spot was large enough that we did not have to unhook the tow. The bath house was super clean and the showers were large with great water pressure. Easy walk to the beach. Great store and really friendly staff. I can’t wait to go back. It’s a large park but very quiet at night.

We had stayed here last year...was great! HoWEVER....this year, we stayed while traveling to Maine and the pull through site had a small patch of grass which was covered in dog feces. We had to take bags and pick up the site so we or our dog wouldn't walk through it. I don't mean two or three poops....there was a LOT! Additionally, the 30 Amp plug was broken off at the top and I had to put duct tape across the plug for it to stay in. I was a bit disappointed....you would think the sites would be checked and cleaned before the next RV'er checked in. Prob will not stay here again in our travels.

I have not stayed the night here. I have been there though. It's like leaving the state but not. It's clean and cared for. The staff is great, nice environment and not far from home. Go

Nice place will have to come back when it isn't a monsoon rain storm all freakin weekend while we were there our first visit.

It was a little tight in our spot but we are 39' long and just passing through so we were glad for the spot. Nice Park.

The campground office staff are friendly, the grounds were being maintained this week. The office sells some general camping needs and firewood bundles. The waterfront sites are nice, piers are new, they have a small boat launch and dock rental space if you bring a boat. On the Bush River, a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. Some sites are a little cramped and not easy to back into if the park is filling, but nice once you're in. Water pressure is fantastic and site concrete pads are pretty close to level Beware if it rains before or during your stay, it gets pretty muddy in a few spots. Bath house is nice and clean. Overall our stay here was a pleasant 4 night booking. Staff was not hawking on guest sites but were very accommodating when asked for anything. I would recommend for someone wanting an established campground with a variety of amenities.

Love this location. Spots closer to the office & perimeter of the water tend to flood at the slightest bit of rain. We had spot #M7 which sat on a little hill so we didn’t have to worry about the flooding, yet still had great views. Would definitely stay here again.
