⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We lived at Bar J Hitching Post RV Park in Sweetwater for about six months, and I absolutely loved it! The community is great, and the staff was always so kind and helpful. It’s a quiet park considering it’s right off the highway, and even the train nearby isn’t too loud. I loved that we could get packages delivered with no issues, and it felt very safe and comfortable. There are two gas stations within walking distance, and Walmart along with other stores are just about a five-minute drive away. They have four washers and four dryers on-site, and during our stay, two washers were broken for a short while, but they got them fixed pretty quickly. You can also get coins for the machines in the office, which was super convenient. There’s also a laundromat just about three minutes away if you ever need it. We only moved because of my husband’s job, but I truly miss it, Sweetwater and this RV park will always have a special place in my heart! ❤️

In my opinion, this is a fine stop for overnight. The lady at the desk was nice and recommended a restaurant for us. It was a good choice. There is noise (location). Trains, semi trucks and freeway. I used the showers. Water pressure is low but it worked and got hot enough. I didn’t use the laundry and have no opinion. The wifi does not support streaming. I went to the office for advice and she didn’t know anything about the system. Luckily we were able to use my phone as a hotspot to watch game 7 of the World Series. We didn’t love it or hate it. It was just fine.

My husband and I with our son were coming back through town and pulled into Freddys to grab a bite to eat. There are four dumsters cans on Freddys property so we were going to put our trash bags in them. The owner?/manager? Of this RV park came storming over and verbally assaulted my husband. My husband apologized and said he didn’t know the dumpsters were private and tried to shake the man’s hand. The man was so mad he was shaking and refused our apology. I’ve never been treated so rudely

My husband and I had been staying at this RV spot for about a month. On the first morning, I was rudely awakened by banging on my door. A woman informed me that I couldn’t park on the grass. I agreed and moved my car. She insisted that the rules were on a paper, but I had never received it. I would recommend that the owner post the rules on their website to prevent similar issues from happening to others. My second complaint is about the limited washer and dryer facilities for RV park residents who stay for more than a week. It’s frustrating to try and wash clothes with only one washer out of four working. During my stay, there were two washers that were broken, and the sticky notes that indicated their status were covered in dust. While I was okay with only two washers working, there’s only one now, The RV park washers are also very small, so you’d have to split a basket full of clothes. Considering the $2 per wash and dry cycle, I strongly recommend that the owners either fix the washers or replace them.

The highway noise wasn't as bad as imagined but the train whistle several times during the night did wake us up each time. Aside from that, it's a lovely campground with large mostly shaded sites. Bathrooms, showers and laundry are all clean and updated.
