Bar M Resort & Campground
Overview
Bar M Resort & Campground offers a quintessential Ozarks experience, combining the nostalgia of a classic lakeside retreat with the modern conveniences today’s RVers expect. Situated on the shores of Table Rock Lake, this family-oriented destination provides a peaceful atmosphere that stands in pleasant contrast to the high-energy entertainment found in nearby Branson. The park is designed to encourage outdoor relaxation, featuring a mix of shaded full hookup RV sites and cozy lodging options. Whether you are looking to spend your days on the water or exploring local theme parks, this resort serves as a welcoming home base with a distinct community feel.
Location & Surroundings
Nestled in Reeds Spring, Missouri, the park is specifically located on the James River arm of Table Rock Lake. This location provides guests with direct access to some of the most scenic and fish-rich waters in the region. The surrounding landscape is characterized by rolling hills, dense oak forests, and limestone bluffs typical of the Missouri Ozarks. While the park feels secluded and immersed in nature, it is conveniently positioned just a short drive from Highway 76, making it easy to transition from the quiet lakeside to the bustling attractions of the Branson Strip.
Amenities & Park Features
The park is well-equipped to handle various RV sizes, offering spacious pull-through and back-in sites. A standout feature for families is the large swimming pool with a waterslide, which serves as a central hub for afternoon fun. For those bringing their own vessels, the resort provides a private covered boat dock with slips available for rent, along with a convenient launch ramp. On-site facilities include a game room for children, a playground, and clean laundry facilities. The park ensures guests stay connected and comfortable with reliable utilities and well-maintained grounds that prioritize a clean, natural aesthetic.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Adventure is never far away, as the resort is located only minutes from the world-famous Silver Dollar City theme park. Guests can spend their mornings enjoying 1880s-themed crafts and rollercoasters before returning to the lake for a sunset boat ride. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to Talking Rocks Cavern for underground exploration or the Dogwood Canyon Nature Park for hiking and biking. Of course, the primary draw remains Table Rock Lake itself, where visitors can engage in world-class bass fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding directly from the resort property.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is an ideal match for family vacationers who want a balanced itinerary of outdoor recreation and commercial entertainment. It is particularly well-suited for those traveling with boats or personal watercraft, thanks to the dedicated dock facilities. Because of its quiet location outside the city limits, it is also a top choice for long-term travelers or retirees seeking a serene environment that still offers quick access to shopping and dining. If you prefer the sound of lake water over city traffic but still want to be near the action, Bar M Resort fits the bill perfectly.

Came for the weekend to check out the grounds for a family reunion and it was PERFECT! We will definitely be booking for our family. The hospitality that Jeanene gave us was top notch. The grounds and cabins are clean and well kept. Thanks again!

We used the campground for a family gathering for a few days following a family wedding. It was a great place to meet up, then we could do stuff together or go our own direction in the daytime. Hosted a campfire, there's a swimming pool, a game room and Lake access. It was nice to have a place to cook and a refrigerator!

Was Awesome. We enjoyed all the various activities we did. Everything was close by. The resort employees keep the property clean and accommodate your needs . Banny made sure our stay was Awesome from day one. Went above and beyond and periodically checked in to make sure our trip was going good. Answered any questions we had. Was ot of fun. We fished, made camp fire, played pool, went swimming in the pool, relaxed in the hot tub, threw horse shoes, played some Basketball, ping pong, and grilled some awesome food. The resort is nice because its Wilderness and also has covered areas to barbecue on large grills. The game room is fun to hangout at night or if its raining hard. I liked the bathrooms too. Nice and clean with good showers. Everything is just right there. You don't have to walk far rather u want to shower, play pool, fish, cook, etc.... Will definitely be coming back. Thanks so much Banny! Your the best. Matt, Jen, Kyle

This place is very nice. Lots of green and shade. Staff is very friendly. Easy access to the lake. Boat wise not so much however the lake was 12 feet higher than usual. Great to go paddle boarding or swim. Water temperature was just right. I recommend this to anyone.

We just left here after a family Get together! Awesome people, beautiful location, and lots of wildlife! We all had a marvelous time, and are already planning next years get together. The lake was a little muddy from all the rain, but that didn’t stop us at all. It has been a very wet spring in the Ozarks. My little family was in our camper, but we had some family in a cabin, it was SO nice, I may just get a cabin next time! Front and back porches so you could always catch a breeze, and from the back you could watch the deer and the lake. Also, bathrooms are always a big thing when camping. I will say that I didn’t even feel the urge to look for spiders, so that’s a big WIN for me! And did I mention the amazing hosts? Yes. Definitely going back!
