We were in town for an event. This place was fine for the weekend. The price was right, but I wouldn't want to actually vacation here. It rained pretty heavy and because there was no grass or gravel, our campsite was nothing but mud. The back sites are teeny tiny; it felt like we were right on top of our neighbors. The fire pit is a hub cap extremely close to the rv; we didn't want to risk a camp fire. The standing water seems to attract a ton of bugs; they were THICK. Our site was so uneven, we could not get our smallish camper level. All in all, it was ok to sleep, but really didn't make you want to be outside.

This place has a lot going on. We rented a cabin and were surprised how hands off they are. You need to bring everything, and I mean everything. They supply nothing but a broom. You are also responsible for sweeping. So if the last renter did a poor job sweeping, you may need to clean up after them. The room needed a fly swatter, so we had to buy one in town. We went here due to the friendly dog policy and it was a great place for dogs. They have a nice little dog park. Our dog had fun finding trash left over from previous renters in our very cozy little cabin. The 6 person deluxe cabin we rented was very small. We had 2 adults and 2 kids and I cannot imagine having 6 people in this cabin. Two bunk beds, one in the kitchen and the other is basically in the bathroom. It was weird how empty this place was in the middle of July and also seeing what appears to be people with permanent trailers there, but not staying there. So I guess they let people rent lots here year round, even though they do not stay year around, giving the place a half empty feel. The price for the small cabin was on the high side.

What a great fun family, couples, and friends camping ground to stay. Friendly, great service. Owners would spend time talking and finding out about you. Definitely book a couple of days or longer. Good for a night as well, but there is so much to do there. We booked twice there in two weeks. Stop there before going to Minnesota, stopped on the wayback heading home.

I really feel the need to say that this campground has gone downhill since Greg and Laurie sold to a "big" corporation like RJourney. We would stay here at least 2 times every Summer and absolutely loved it! They always had something planned and it was never boring and always packed. Kids were running around and riding bikes all over the campground but not now. There was hardly anyone there this weekend. It's like the wind was taken out of the sails. It was eerily quiet. It used to be packed on weekends and now it isn't which is to bad. We counted 33 unoccupied sites. Both Greg and Laurie were always on site working on something to make the campground better for guests and always offered a smile and would stop and talk to people. I miss those days because this used to be a great campground but not anymore and sorry to say that we will no longer be staying here in the future unless something drastically changes. I wish I had known that they were looking to sell because my wife and I wouldn't have hesitated to buy this campground.

We had a good weekend of early fall camping. We liked our site for the most part. It was plenty wide and easy to back into with a travel trailer. Some of the other things they have on site is a pool from Memorial day to labor day. Giant chess, checkers, and connect four. A jumping pillow, a playground, a swimming pond, a game room, mini golf, also a camp store that has food, ice cream and some table top games. You can also rent a multi person pedal cart as well, though you don't have all that much area to ride it. The showers are ok, you have two options on or off. No real temperature control. It was a little to hot for my son so that was kind of a problem. The bathrooms were clean. We have now stayed here a couple times and both times enjoyed our stay.

Stayed in PM8 I did not see online sizes of beds, so I called and was told 2 doubles and 2 twins. We packed those sheets. Got there master has a queen in it. Couch was a double and 2 twins in loft. BHC should update the staff or better yet add online so we don't have to call and ask. Otherwise great experience.

Awesome camp ground. Employees very helpful and super mice. Extremely clean cabins clean showers and bathrooms. Stire with many array of things that if you forgot something they probably have it but Very pricey like most camp stores.. The grounds were kept well. The firewood would not burn well. Many fun outdoor games, pool, indoor game room many more fun things.

5+ stars, best campground I have been to ever! Even during the pandemic where everyone is understaffed, this place was clean, fun, staff were always available. The bathrooms were very clean, the pool spotless, the pond amazing! They had a Friday fish dinner that they delivered right to your campground, so yummy. We were training for a triathlon at Devils Lake in Sept and wanted to ride the hills and practice the run route. We picked this campground because it was close to the State Park. We are so happy we did, the kids had so much fun, we plan to come back for a week next summer so we can really explore all that the campground has to offer.

This place is AMAZING! From the time I called and booked my reservation to the minute we left there I was satisfied. We were with a few other relatives so when booking it was a little bit of a struggle so after having a hard time online we called. The nicest most patient person helped us the whole way through picking a perfect site and finding spots right next to our relatives. So big thank you to Chloe for making our stay the most enjoyable and thanks again Baraboo Hills we will be returning for many years to come!

We came here for a mother daughter trip with my 6 year old on arguably the least “scheduled fun” weekend they have all summer and had a BLAST. First, must comment that the bathrooms and showers are clean... not camp ground clean, I mean, like if I didn’t see people coming in and out of the stalls, you would think that someone just cleaned each stall. No fear of using the toilet what so ever. And no shortage of warm water in the showers. The pond and beach is a great time. The water is clear and they do a great job of maintenance. The pool and everything else was also well maintained enough space for everyone. Staff was super friendly. Food was great camp food. Nothing is healthy but who goes camping and expects to be healthy 🤣😉. The biggest hit is the playground. My only suggestion is for the wagon and train rides is to come up with some sort of camp tradition/songs like we have experienced at other camp grounds. It would just add an extra something to the ride. In short, we will see you all next year.
