Thank you, Micheal and Gennifer!! We had an amazing week at Barefoot. Padsites are level with plenty of length to park a couple of vehicles. Plenty of tent sites too. The bathhouse was cute and clean despite its age. River access was great, and there are plenty of hiking trails. We loved the proximity to Colorado Bend State Park. Recently added wifi was fantastic! The camp owners were friendly and very responsive. We highly recommend Barefoot and we will be back again!!

Stayed there with a large group for a seminar, the people that run the camp do an excellent job! Trash stays gone, toilets stay clean. And the primitive sites are all a good distance away from each other offering your own oasis. There also is not a site with a bad view of the river, the river is a great place to swim and the ranch has a tone of wildlife to view! I’ll be coming back!

My friends and I had a wonderful time camping at Barefoot Camp and RV Park. The primitive campsites are spaced out so it doesn't feel like you are pushed up against your neighbor. The river is close and easy to get to. We also enjoyed seeing the cows and hiking a little on the property. Just a note for potential campers: There is no water pump at your site. They are truly primitive. Be sure to pack lots of drinking water! As long as you don't mind roughing it a bit (which is to be expected for primitive sites), this is a great place to pick.

This place was so nice and quiet! The skies are beautiful, the scenery was perfect, the sunsets were amazing. My husband and I only got to spend a short weekend here and we barely left the park for a quick hike at Colorado bend state park. The pups and us equally loved our time here and we cannot wait to return for a longer trip. We stayed in spot 37 and it felt like a private camp to us. Bathrooms had hot showers. Management even mailed our trailer keys we accidentally left at the dump station and providing tracking the first day possible! They have been easy to get a hold of and so helpful. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a campground for RVs or tents. Property is just beautiful! We’ll be back soon!

Outstanding facility! Cannot recommend this place enough. What a great surprise! Our church just held our men’s retreat here, and it could have gone better. The views are outstanding and access to the river along with lots of availability for walking trails in exploration. Makes it really really wonderful. I’m attaching some pictures to check out, if you’re rock formation fan at all you probably want to check this place out. Really cool striations and formations along the river..

My family has been going here for four generations. Always the best hospitality and open arms from every single person of the family who runs this. I would go so far to say we’re a part of the family at this point. If you need somewhere to get away from the stresses of everyday life, look no further than this camp ground. You can fish, hike, and just relax on the side of the river. :) Also, I absolutely love going back every single year to spend time with friends and family. Anyone who rates them lower than 5 stars was expecting a company ran area rather than a family ran camping ground.

There is a few things you can do here. Camping under the trees and stars, fishing and the shallow part of the river you could swim you could also do some hiking out there

The person who manages the R.V. side of the Barefoot camp needs to be replaced. We got lost driving in and stopped at the R.V. park and he saw us stopped for 5 minutes and did not help us. So we turned around thinking we were in the wrong place and then when we came back (realizing it was the right place) he threatened our lives saying "I carry a gun so watch out". Besides that, the R.V. spots are very close together, and even after midnight the neighbors were so loud we couldn't sleep. The river is absolutely beautiful, but don't waste your money here. Colorado bend state park is right next door for the same views.

Very pleased with our stay. Barefoot is off the beaten path and not close to anything. There was a beer and burger joint in the community of Bend, about 10 minutes way. The campground met all our needs for our camper trailer. There must be two miles of river access, great for walking our dogs. Place is a little worse for wear but well maintained and clean. Main purpose of our trip was for hiking in the state park, which was fantastic. We will come again.

This place is awesome! Beautiful scenery, good river access, friendly owners. Don't even consider camping at that other place down the road. Choose Barefoot! We camped at primitive covered site no. 10. Would definitely choose this site again. If you plan to fish the white bass spawn, this site isn't the best for getting down to the water. A short walk down the river and you can get up to the edge or in the river if you bring waders. Plenty of firewood available for your camp site and level ground for your tents. Will be back here again next year.
