Baring North Sever Lake

Baring North Sever Lake is in a tract of land containing 449 acres with the Lake itself being 17.4 acres. The area provides diverse habitat for fish and wildlife and offers the public outdoor recreational opportunities including swimming, fishing and camping. Without electricity on the property, the star gazing is spectacular. Archery hunting is availability during seasons. Conservation rules apply. Knox County is located in rural NE Missouri where most people make a living either directly or indirectly as a result of Agricultural enterprises. The Lakes were gifted to the County by Henry Edwin Sever who was a wealthy publisher that grew up in Knox County. The Lakes are maintained by The Knox County Commission.

Location was good plenty of room for tents and activities. Playground looks great and in good shape. Beach was decent for the area no trash scattered around, very clean. Only issues were the fire pit was destroyed, difficult to use. No one came out to check trash once the entire stay, had to leave it full.
