A fun little beach! While on a trip through Belmont County with our kids, we came across Barkcamp State Park and the sweet little beach they have located here. It was a very hot day and as we were making our way through the area to different sites and locations, we just happen to have our beach bag of swimsuits and towels available for the kids to enjoy the water. They really loved getting into the water and digging for shells through the sand. Our older kids enjoyed taking a break for a moment and enjoying the time out of the car. My husband and I just sat and relaxed. Any parent knows that feeling… Restrooms on the premises. Barbecue grill Basketball court Picnic tables Public restroom Slides Swings Good for kids Good for kids birthday Kid-friendly hikes Playground Dogs allowed, hiking * Wheelchair, accessible entrance and parking lot

Gorgeous, quiet with lots of areas for families, reunions, small or large bikers or walkers, this is amazing! Laundry, showers and indoor plumbing or outhouses if preferred! We were in site # 18 -40' motor home. Unhooked, and parked our pull behind truck at the end of our site. The lake is nice sand, shallow with a volleyball net at one end. Horse area was secluded and in use. Very nice State park! Easter weekend was busy.
