I would have given this a 5star but the bathrooms are in desperate need of some cleaner. Although they had flush toilets and running water, the toilets were sub par, especially for little kids. Yuck. Also noticed just some low level neglect of signing and general upkeep. Lots of trash on the trails. $10 to get in but for a family day trip, it would be worth it. Lots of picnic areas, a great kids swim and play area, and the little store had the basics, which was nice. An RV sewer dump area, water in several areas, dog bags, trash cans that were clean and empty. The cove area had a very useful outdoor large sink area which would be awesome for camping and BBQ. Really enjoyed the wildlife and investigating some huge pinecones. Felt safe and it was very quiet, although during holidays I'm sure it's louder at the camp areas. Long distance hikes/walks. Trails are mostly packed dirt but there's plenty of paved roads to also walk on. Wheelchair access to most areas. Staff was nice, with a boat mechanic right on site. Useful.

Beautiful and serene place. Not to mention, the drive there was beautiful as well. This place has lots of trails, restrooms, picnic tables, a cafe, cabins and a small park. Very breathtaking and a good place to destress. Went around late feb to early march time. It was pretty quiet and felt like a ghost town. The only people I saw were of course the workers and people on the boat. We didn't have a boat so we mainly were walking on trails and playing on the swings. It was a peaceful atmosphere nonetheless. Entry 10 bucks. Can pay with credit card otherwise use the blue envelopes for cash.

Friendliest staff! Great fishing. 4th of July here is an annual celebration, the fireworks show is always awesome. The park is awesome for hiking and camping if you'd like to stay on land. The facilities are always kept tidy. The family has been coming out here for generations!

This a nice area to come with family/friends. There are many picnic areas and plenty of restrooms. Some had showers but they did have spider webs. There is an area for whoever wants to go biking too. You can also bring your dogs, must be on a leash. The entry was $10.

This is a very nice place to go camping. We rented 3 spots next to each other on the D Loop spot. This place has a water spout and an electric hook up. There's a marina here that wasn't opened. There's cabins that can be rented. There was also a playground for the kids. There are bathrooms with showers all over the campsite. Our family had a great time camping here for Easter. We will be coming back.

Great place to camp. Really hot. Fishing was not so great for us but the new pontoon 🚤 are amazing.. Staff are all so nice and give great information. Bathrooms ok. Showers are 😨 scary with spiders but just bring your own hose.. Would differently recommend family camping.. Smokey this time of year due to fires and u are not allowed to have a fire pit. But understandable .
