In my opinion Barrewood campground is the best there is. There may not be a lot of activity or a lot of campers in this small campground, but it’s peaceful and friendly. You are treated like they know you and they like you. Mark, the owner is a kind and caring man, and makes me feel welcome here. There is a beautiful brook and soon I’ll hike up to the waterfalls. I’m so glad to be part of this community.

I had a truly fantastic experience at Barrewood Campground! The staff was incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. A major highlight was the exceptionally clean bathrooms—they were spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. It's clear the team takes great pride in their campground, and it shows in every detail. I highly recommend Barrewood for anyone looking for a wonderful camping trip.

The owner of this quaint campground is very nice. It's a wonderful campground with plenty of nice tent sites and large open sites for RVs. I came here in the off season, may 10th. There was nobody else there. I called the owner after he left for the evening at about 7 pm, and he actually drove back to meet me in person. I was allowed to stay for free and have some firewood for free. It was very generous. I would absolutely recommend this campground to anyone looking for a nice hassle free stay.

My two friends and I bike camped here in late September and it was really nice having the laundry room and sink and pavilion and there’s a great short waterfall hike right behind the property. Mark the owner stopped by for a chat

This was my first experience staying at an RV park. Mark, the owner was the most gracious host you could ask for. The area was quiet, clean and well taken care of. We liked it so much we decided to stay an extra night. The water is supplied by a pump assisted gravity fed spring and is fresh and clean. There is a beautiful brook with waterfalls behind the park and from what I've been told it is a good place to pan for gold. I would definitely recommend Barrewood to anyone and am looking forward to our next visit.

A hidden gem! What a a great spot for a relaxing night under the stars. This little place has everything you will need. Other campgrounds could learn from this clean well kept property. Magnificent lawns, laundry room and pool to cool off in! Take a short walk out back and enjoy the waterfalls. Don’t miss this spot for your next camping adventure.

Gem of the north! Cozy and well kept, HOT showers, exceptionally clean bathrooms and laundry. Tent sites are right on Taft Brook with a short walk to some beautiful waterfalls. Beautiful landscapes all around.

We stayed 06/13/21 for 5 wonderful days of camping, swimming, hiking and adventuring through the small villages in the area. The owner Mark could not have more gracious and he runs a clean and tidy campground. The sites are large and level and the rates are low especially if you’re a Passport America member.
