Not sure what's going on here in Berrington Hills in Hudson. Kelly will make call after call after call nothing ever gets accomplished you can complain and nothing gets done they say we'll take care of it nothing gets done there's crap all over people's sites then you have to come out and look at it there's a dog behind me that stays out in the heat 90° weather and this party puts a fan on them I think it's time that the people get inside the dog cage and let us put a fan on them and see how they like it

We stayed here as it was close to relatives. We might stay again for that reason alone, but we honestly were not too impressed with the park. I will say first that both office ladies were wonderful and they alone would recieve 5 stars. As for the park itself, the single bath house was closed from November to April or May. While we understand that the permits came through at a bad time and they had to act on it, it is very strange for a park with ~400 sites to have a single location for showers or laundry. A LOT, I would say ~2/3rds, of the sites are permanent single and double wide mobile homes. The park map does not differentiate between the permanent and the RV sites so it is not clear ahead of time that you will be surrounded by permanent people. I think our entire road only had 5 other RV sites. They do have a fenced in dog park which is nice, but the other designated dog walk area is a sloped overgrown marshy area behind a row of campsites. The weeds on the top of the hill were too thick to go through, and the bottom of the hill is wet, so you're left walking on the side of the steep hill. The other thing that stood out about this park is that there was always a lot of background sound. The highway was just on the other side of the fence so it was hard to know when a car was coming up behind you vs on the main road outside. Many people had flags, wind chimes, and other things that make noise in the wind, and it was pretty windy when we were there. On the nice days there were constantly people working on vehicles or building things. These aren't necessarily bad things, but you couldn't get away from the noise to just relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. There are no stop signs in the park, but rather the lines on the ground that say stop. These are very hard to see from the low viewpoint of a car and very few people bothered to stop. I didn't even realize what they were until I walked down the road and could read them. Many people including delivery drivers also go too fast in the park. We had at least two people screech to a halt right by our site, and then back up and take the last turn. Adding that to the traffic sounds outside and the general noise in the park, it made it unnerving to walk my dog and I was constantly checking behind myself for cars. There were also several people that did not pick up after their dogs in our yard, and many people left their dogs tied up outside unattended. One in particular had a dog tied to a tree using a thin extendable leash that could reach nearly 1/3rd of the way across the road. That dog lunged at us every time we walked by it; the first time a man was sitting out there and had no reaction. The second time it was unsupervised. The third time the man and a woman were out and it ran around their parked car at us. If we didn't already know to walk on the other side of the road, there would have been a fight. I asked the woman to shorten the leash as it was not safe for the dog to be in the road and 2 days later they put up a fence and no longer leashed the dog. It seemed less aggressive that way, but it absolutely could jump that fence if inclined so we stopped walking down that road entirely. The pool was nice enough and it was clean, and they at least had bathrooms in the office by the pool to use. Many permanent residents did customize their lot numbers on the road which were very cute to see! Overall it was fine. The proximity to family means we will likely come here again, but might limit it to days that we plan to be out of the park.

Had high hopes for this park. The pictures seem to make it look good. We'll that is the good. Here's the rant... first they tried to cancel us to go 2 hours farther south, when we booked here because of family close by. This is for what they said was fema. Not sure that us true have not seen anyone here that was displaced. As we drove in the park I'd full of outdated permanent trailers. The park has a pool that is OK. The laundry and only bath house for the 380 some sites is closed. November 11 to May 11. So it's closed all of high use in Florida. There is very little grass here, so if you get a site with grass be prepared that you now have the dog potty room. People here do NOT pick up after their pets. When confronted they reply "you don't know what I am going threw". As this is an excuse. Most of the permanent people here are rude and have no respect for people who travel. It is 8 minutes from the beach. This is the only plus here. The lady at the front desk is friendly enough. I'm sure she us tired of the people being disgusted. As she is the face for the manager that hides. What is Encore and Thousand Trails doing. For the amount of money they pull in for permanent sites and only pay their employees minimum wage, there should be more upkeep. If you are a member go elsewhere unless you can deal with these items to go to the beach. End of rant. Safe travels.

Office closed on Sunday. Go through a call center for reservations. Arrived and found the site. Terrible. Old outdated hookups, nasty site with dead bird in the yard and animal waste. If this is an example of Encore resort, you have failed. It just looks like an old trailer park. Stayed one night, didn't feel safe.

Our favorite Park we have been to traveling within the Thousand Trails Ecosystem. Very Clean, Organized, and Friendly. The major thing going here is the staff. Management, Office Staff , Groundskeepers, Maintenance, and Everything in between have been nothing but accommodating. We stayed here in August and recently changed our schedule to Stay here again for Christmas. Always something to do at the clubhouse and pool. People are friendly and wave with a smile, which is nice considering it's hard to find a smile in today's world. This place is definitely the cleanest park we have used. Thank You to Barrington Hills Employees for making our visit so amazing.

Sites are not kept up well... The sand we almost got stuck in was crazy. Spots are tight and ours was not angled, so it was hard to get in and out of it. Very packed in. Nice staff around park and in office. Friendly community. Feels very safe and overall clean. Nice pool. Lots of park activities. Horrible phone signal. About a 10 min drive from the water where there are a few bars/restaurants. Really pretty to watch the sun set. Not a whole lot to do in the area.

I gave this a 2 only because the office ladies were nice and the pool was good. Otherwise it's a bad location squeezed in between two very busy and loud highways. Not a quiet spot in the place. Mostly a trailer park with a handful of spots for RVs. Bathroom (yes one) is gross. See pics. No way for handicap either. Really surprised Encore put their name on this one. Hard to rest. Our spot was on the end of the row and tons of traffic there too with inconsiderate neighbors. Loud trucks kids on mini bikes. Super noisy. We won't go back.

The location is a community with several small houses next to each other and with some RV spaces. Some residents are nice. The park is quite small with some RV spaces very small, making it difficult to maneuver. But it’s clean and organized. The employees are kind. The phone and internet signal are terrible. The road next to our lot was very noisy!

We are loving our stay here at Barrington Hills RV Resort. The park is quiet and SO CLEAN. The residents and all the staff are so friendly. They have a heated pool and a big clubhouse. The laundry room and shower rooms are also clean and everything is in great working order. The staff threw a Christmas party for all the kids today. Santa made an appearance, they had food, crafts and even presents and stockings for each child. This is a wonderful park with friendly people and it’s safe and fun for families. 5/5!

Daughter and son-in-law have their RV there, and they like it very much. Staff is very good, very friendly. Grounds are well kept, pool always clean. The rates seem to be pretty reasonable for the area, and for the season. Many Snowbirds come back on a regular basis
