The campground was fun. Site was not level but we did ok for 9 day trip. Only issue was last few days of other campers with loud music all day. Should be a noise level requirement for the day as well as the night time quiet hours.

stayed here for 4 nites during the week the first week of Sept. The bathrooms and showers were not cleaned once while we were there and there was a hint of urine smell in the bathrooms. Sites vary from roomy and semi private to basically camping with your neighbors. The weekends are crowded and noisy.

Nice place to camp with friends and family. It can be quite crowded in summer but we found people to be most respectful of noise at night. Camping sites are mostly private but definitely recommend doing research of the camping spot before booking. We didn’t have much privacy but it turned out just fine with nice neighbors.

Barview jetty campground really is a great all around family campground. The tent sites vary in size so it’s worth scouting the sites before booking. We were able to get a site in the middle of July, but we had to book back in may. The entire campground was full at that point. A new change, no more coin operated showers. They include free showers with your site reservation and the water is hot and plentiful. Beach access is easy from nearly anywhere in the park. We brought our dog but had to keep him tied up or on a leash at all times. Some people didn’t adhere to this within their sites, making walks with our dog a bit concerning. Luckily, there is no shortage of walking routes to avoid the known sites that had dogs off leash. There were plenty of birds and squirrels, so keep your food stashed away in coolers or totes. We saw a coyote on Sunday afternoon when people started to leave. It roamed around most Sunday evening but it was scavenging and not a menace to us. This was probably our 8th time staying at Barview campground. We will be back this fall to go crabbing!

This was a nice campground, very easy to get to ocean they have a trail that leads straight to it and it was only a 12 minute walk. They also had a little lagoon that goes out to the ocean that was maybe a 2 minute walk and very pretty with lots of cool sea creatures. The area was nice and clean when we arrived. The campsite we booked said it could fit 10 people and we only had 5 with two tents and were pretty cramped so just be mindful of that. Not sure how they calculate how many people can fit. Other than that it was a nice trip.
