Great Value! It was all we needed for the night on our camping adventure. The site was pull through, the showers were hot and the facilities were clean. Thank you for providing a decent place to stay for a decent price!

Very nice campground with clean and spacious bathroom/shower areas. Has laundry area as well. Staff was very polite and friendly over the phone! There is no office so you reserve over the phone or website.

Right next to the highway, but the road noise was not bad at all. The RV parking areas are very spacious, well marked and easy to use. The showers/bathrooms are new and spotlessly clean. It was a real pleasure to stay here, then get up in the morning and drive to the Sand Dunes National Park.

We throughly enjoyed staying at Base Camp Family Campground. I really liked the text messages and emails, it was great to be informed of what we could/couldn't do based on the weather. It was also conveniently located it was about 20 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. It was also nice to be able to check-in anytime. The campground was clean and the facilities were nice. If I could give this campground 10 stars I would, we will definitely come back to Base Camp the next time we're in the area. Thank you for a great campground!

We stayed here a few nights and wish we had more time but the weather interfered and we got there two days late. Great location and very clean. Views were great and the camp host were very kind. The facilities, showers, bathrooms, laundry were all very clean and well maintained. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!! Quiet and very large sites.
