We’ve stayed here a lot when my brother had his camper and this was our first time staying in a Deluxe cozy cabin. Very nice and clean. When we arrived the a/c was on and felt amazing on these hot days! Staff was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed! Very clean resort! We floated on a Tuesday which was so relaxing and peaceful!! We will definitely be booking again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Have come here twice for float trips and had a blast both times! Parking is super convenient, and drop off from the buses has been clear and organized both times. They give you a bunch of trash bags for empties while you float, and check in was quick and easy. Would definitely recommend for anyone’s float trip!

We stayed the weekend here when we went to The Fugitive beach (it's an hour away). We rented the cozy cabins and it was cozy for sure. The rooms were clean and air conditioned. No linens are provided. You need to bring your own towels and don't forget hand soap, we did. There is a sink and a 2 burner stove. They have a picnic table and small grill but bring your own if you can. They have horse back riding, canoe trips and a small store, it's expensive. We paid $30.00 for some lunch meat and cheese. This is to be expected in a resort. All in all we had a good time and the beds weren't bad. We weren't there to sleep anyway.

We stayed in Cozy Deluxe Cabin C. It was EXTREMELY clean and well-designed. I recommend adding the linen service to your booking so you don't have to deal with packing sheets and towels. We had great interactions with all the staff. Our float was super fun. I like that it's such a quick (about 1.75 hrs) drive from south city St. Louis. I also loved that I was able to rent a golf cart, which we didn't need but was just fun.

We camped here with our camper. Our campsite was what I would call typical with some gravel and grass. Sites are not roomy at all from side to side as we were pretty much on top of the other campers but we camped with a few other people and we butted up to the corral area and had great space behind our sites we shared. The river is nice although not very deep for older kids. The campsites were clean and the staff were friendly. My reason for giving it a lower rating is the price. We paid 300$ for four people to camp for three nights. That’s pretty high. We were also upset to find out once we arrived that the pool is not complimentary to the campers. You have to pay extra to use the pool. It is an amenity only for cabins. My sister asked why the high fees for staying if things like the pool weren’t included and they said all of our other amenities. We asked like the creek? I didn’t know of anything else that was “free”. We had to pay an extra 150$ on top of our campsite fee for our two kids who they charged us adult prices as their age is over 12. Just feel like for the prices you shouldn’t have other charges on top of that for amenities.

We come here once a year in the spring. It's a very nice campground that offers floats, horseback riding, a restaurant and a nice store. They have a swimming pool. There's a variety of camping sites from plain tents to full hookups. They have cabins and houses too. There's showers, and laundry facility. There is two miles on the Courtois river, which is lovely. It's a popular place.

I would not, I recommending this place if you were trying to find lodging. Because yeah, the lady that answers the phone, we'll ask you 10000 questions. Just to tell you that all the lodging is full. Soupdeedooppty.

Lodging is perfect but I highly recommend not floating down the river. The river path is very congested and dangerous. Our float got stuck numerous times and the sharp branches and obstacles that haven’t been cleared off the river put us in a life threatening situation. It was really scary. Great hospitality and staff but they need to work on that.

Great place to go on vacation, spacious cabins , nice rafting on the river. The only bummer out here is , you won't have any service on your cellular device. Other than that, awesome place for a vacation.

I’ve camped at Bass with my family and friends multiple times over the years. It’s definitely one of my favorites… if not the favorite campground around here! The campsite we always pick is near the river and great for the views and swimming. My only “con” is that if you forget your tent like we did, whoops 🤷♀️ the only tent option at the camp store is a tiny 2 person $100 tent and the lady at the cash register kind of made fun of us for forgetting a tent. I know it was a silly mistake but oh well, stuff happens! This is just a suggestion but maybe Bass could offer a few tent sizes for rent and you pay to rent it, just incase something like this happens to anyone else. We will definitely be back to camp hopefully soon (and hopefully with our tent lol). Thanks Bass Resort Staff! You have a fun and unique camping spot! 😁

We tent 🏕 camped and had a blast. Staff was great, everyone was friendly. Bathrooms were clean which was very impressive considering we were there for an event with over 2000+ people. Definitely would stay there again.

Due to a torrential downpour Bass called off floating for the day. Understandable. However, they do not refund and you have to complete some process to get a voucher. We also had to leave quite early as our campsite might flood. Understandable. Annnd we also ordered pizza which was never delivered so we went up and asked and they said they couldn't deliver. They had just delivered to our neighbors. Also, during the torrential downpour they did not close the low water bridge, which already had water over it a few inches high. A Chevy Equinox decided to go for it and went of the side. Both passengers were able to escape, but the vehicle set for quite some time blocking the road. I would think as a business with a river running through it, you might fix that bridge so that it's not always under water and also a scary death trap if you get sucked under while swimming.

This place isn't bad, however it really is mostly for getting drunk during the summer, then floating down the river, and that's not my cup of tea. There are no real trails to hike on, the campsites are loud during busy months, and crowded, but even when it's not busy or when your staying in the quiet sections, each campsite is very open, and I prefer more trees and nature in between the campsites, for at least some privacy, and for the amount it costs, I expected more. Not a horrible place, just not my kind of campsite/resort.
