Great place, people are very friendly!!! Was very disappointed in the many ponds, wanted to do a little fishing but most of them needed some attention.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed a whole week. Pool, splash pad for little ones, playground, dog park, fishing and more. They had a Daddy daughter dance event when we were there which was fun. They also have a laundry center which comes in handy.

Easy in and out. Large wide open campground. We were there for the night, and enjoyed it. Playground d looked nice. Staff was friendly. Some roads and sites needed re-graded. You have to pay for wifi. No cable. A little expensive for a water electric only site.

Nice campground with good fishing. We had a spot backed up to a river and caught a few bait stealers. The biggest complaint was that it was loud and VERY Smoky. I understand campfires but it smelled like a bonfire the entire night. I would stay here again if i had to on my way to Cincinnati.

This is a 3.5 rating in my opinion but it has to be a 3 or 4 star. Awesome host, very attentive, pleasant, polite and helpful. She is everywhere and doing everything. The campgrounds have several sites in multiple sections. I love the large fire pits. There is plenty for the children to do, basketball court included the 13 year old rated it 4 or 5 and stated it's a pretty nice playground. There are sever beanbag toss games. I believe you have to bring your own bags. I wish there was a little more effort put into the grounds themselves. Gravel on the drives going to the sites, hay/straw for areas where mud is present, fill in some of the standing water sites and have a few more full hook up pull through sites. Also, I was not happy with the location of my firepit, I felt like we were right outside our neighbors window. It was too far from the site itself and too close to the road. We had a wonderful time while we were here and this was our second visit. I was happy there were sites for all 6 families in a short time period. Update: We had a pull through site this time. The site was very spacious and the fire pit was nice. We had to pull in the other direction for the door to be on the camp side. The staff was just as friendly this trip as they have been in the past. It is obvious they are updating and upgrading the grounds. They still need to invest in adding more Gravel to some of the sites and manage the areas where the water puddles. I was planning to do a video but time got away from me. Also, know that there is also a Thousand Trails on the same property.

Beautiful experience. Staff is not very good but the park has about 1000 spots. Mostly sold to perms. Still open areas. Book early.

It was a new section of the park. Very secluded. Had just opened up the day we arrived. Water and electric only. Good for one over night stay but not much more

This is our first time at the KOA but had stayed previously in the thousand trails side last year. The KOA has level sites and plenty are shaded. We were told that there are a lot of upgrades planned for 2020 for the entire campground including site accessible Wi-Fi and a new second pool. The 600+acre combined campground is a good value when considering a lake to swim in, a nice pool, and large playgrounds for the kids. Lots of area to bike around or just walk. Very friendly staff and the campground is maintained thigh still rustic in areas. We plan to be back at least once or twice next year.
