Here, the focus is on scenic waterfront views and the quiet rhythm of the tides, providing a peaceful environment for those looking to disconnect from the bustle of city life while enjoying a classic Maryland camping experience.
Location & Surroundings
Situated just a few miles south of the charming fishing village of Rock Hall, the campground sits on a high bank along the Chesapeake Bay shoreline. Its position on the western edge of the Delmarva Peninsula makes it a premier spot for witnessing spectacular bay sunsets that paint the sky in vibrant shades of orange and purple every evening.

The park provides a range of functional amenities designed to support a comfortable stay. Guests have access to sites equipped with water and electricity, including options for 30 and 50 amp service. On-site recreation is plentiful, featuring a large swimming pool, a playground for children, and courts for volleyball and basketball. A highlight for many visitors is the direct access for crabbing and fishing, allowing campers to catch their own Maryland blue crabs directly from the shoreline.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Exploring the local area reveals the rich maritime heritage of Kent County. A short drive leads to the Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge, a 4,000-acre island perfect for hiking and birdwatching. The nearby town of Rock Hall offers local seafood restaurants and marinas, while the historic streets of Chestertown are within reach for a day trip. Boating enthusiasts can take advantage of the local ramps to launch into the bay for a day of sailing or trophy fishing.

The campground was nice, our spot was a premium water front spot with excellent views, but just as with every campground/ RV resort you have built in neighbors and on Saturday evening our neighbors had invited 50 of their closest friends for a party, instantly turned the place into a carnival scene..

Absolutely Gorgeous place to put your camper, right at the waters edge. Friendly staff and wonderful neighbors too. Peace and serene environment. Only draw back was there's no rest rooms/powder room to shower. They have placed portable potty around the camp. I will visit again, my babies loved the place...

Nice campground. There were a lot of nice spots, and lots of trees for shade. It was extremely quiet which was relaxing. We had a 30 second walk to the water for some fishing and bonding time with my son. Great view of the bay and a nice breeze. Night time was also extremely quiet with a great view of the stars. Trips to.town were quick or head south for more views and fishing. Everyone there was very friendly. We will definitely be returning.

We spent Friday through Sunday at bayshore and really enjoyed it. Very quiet and laid back. You have to be self contained which is no problem for us. Just a short drive to rock hall to visit shops, restaurants, farmers market etc. Will definitely be back! Thank you Bayshore!

The sites were very adequate for our needs for our time here. The staff is very attentive. It is in a great location and proximity to many of the areas in part of Maryland. There are no restrooms here so you need to be self contained. They are right on the water. Our site was about 80 yards from the water. We will be back in the future.
