We're camping here now. The campground is clean and in the woods. Some sites are close to each other. The only issue we had is that there is a lot of camp hosts but no one can control campers from letting their dogs run loose. They were informed about it and nothing.

We are in site 47. The site is right on the water. End of October and it's been super quiet. Clean campground. Host's are around if you need them.

Beautiful campground and views of the lake. We did not exactly fit between the large trees on site 119 and couldn't put our slides out all the way on one side. It was deep enough for our 40' class A and enough room to park though. I would not pick this site again, because it was just too tight.

We've been coming here off of the Trace for some of our 15 yrs traveling SW. It is still a lovely place to camp with views or frontage of water. As with most places the duties of the caretakers have changed to less, it seems. So be ready to sweep or blow off your lot and possibly rid the fire pit and charcoal grill of debris.

Piney Grove Campground is an absolute gem! The sites are spacious, clean, and well-kept, with beautiful views of the water that make every sunrise and sunset feel picture-perfect. The campground is peaceful but still family-friendly, offering plenty of room for kids to explore and play. The staff and hosts are incredibly friendly and always willing to help, which really makes a difference. Whether you’re here to fish, hike, or just relax by the fire, Piney Grove has everything you need for a perfect getaway. We left feeling refreshed and already can’t wait to come back!
