I have a friend who's been living there for many years. My wife and I wanted to stay there in one the cabins and I was told by a lady that I called before we came down and she said she would hold a cabin for us but after we arrived we learned that there wasn't one available. The nice thing that the entire park is covered with trees but the roads are almost undrivable causing them to post a 9 and a half speed limit. The tennis court is nice and there's a large pond that holds mostly Catfish and some Red Eared Perches.

Love the location, they lost a star due to the electric going on & off. It is beautiful and quite. They have 3 rest room areas to choose from for bathing one washeteria.no plans, yet, to fix the other. The are nice and some are not so friendly but pretty much keep to themselves. In year I have been here, they have had more events which is nice.

It’s not rooms but an rv spot. We loved the park itself. The ONLY reason we did not leave a 5 star: no one enforced the leash rules, at least where we were in lot 193. Neighbors behind us had dogs that barked incessantly and would start at 5 am for our weeklong stay. They were not kept on leash as they were taken to dog park directly across from us. Lady would let them run right up into our space and scare our bird. She herself would walk within2-3 feet of our camper and door. If we come back we will not be staying close to these long termers again as they made our stay unpleasant.

We were looking for a location for our RV for the summer along the Texas Gulf Coast and chose Bay View RV Resort. We had a great summer with a beautiful, shaded, RV site. This is an older well-maintained resort conveniently located in Rockport Texas (35 miles from Corpus Christi). Our family made great use of their olympic-size outdoor pool. They had several outdoor concerts during our stay. Fishing was great! Friendly, helpful, staff. We'll be back again.
