Plans fell through and had to cancel just after making reservation. They would not refund the reservation cost after discussing it with them. Another couple we booked with, same issue, they had their reservation cost refunded. They stopped communicating with us completely. The physical appearances of the facilities do not match what is presented on line.

This was a nice campground for RVs. The owner Dan seemed very nice and Adrian was also very pleasant. Both can be found around for assistance and Dan was always pleasant when riding by on the on a golf cart. I saw him talk to several people and waved to us. I had actually emailed the week before Labor Day asking if they had any cancellations or openings and there was one site available. . in the day that it took me to call back to reserve it, Adrian had turned other people away because I had asked first. That was very much appreciated by my family and a great way to do business! The best part of this campground is that they call it a family campground and it actually is. Our site backed right up to the playground which was essentially a very large sand pit with a playground, some swings and tether ball. It was just enough to keep kids busy, but they also had soccer goals set up as well as several shuffle boards and even a pickleball court. The pool (which was too cold for us) looked very nice. Sometimes campsites have a recreation or game room and it's absolutely terrible but this had a football table and 2 pool tables which also kept our family busy on the downtime. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay here. Laundry room was clean and had a pay box on the honor system so you don't have to go digging up quarters. The showers weren't bad at all because the water was nice and hot! The room itself got cold but there's nothing like a nice hot shower at a campground. Overall, a nice play to stay!!! Well be back if we are in the area.

The charming marketing photos are a bit deceiving. Baldwin Oaks Family Campground is cramped, sandy & muddy, and more like traditional residential trailer park than an RV camping destination. Because it's a year round park, and there are a majority of park residents in addition to seasonal (with a few weekenders, like us). Oh, and there is also RV storage, too. They're all stacked up at the entrance and it's the 1st thing you see. The park is nestled between a couple of nice subdivisions, right off Hudsonville's main drag. It is near to restaurants, gas & groceries. Due to its location and age, the park is difficult for today's bigger RVs to negotiate along it's narrow 1 way roads. Parking into a site is also challenging because of the MANY vehicles parked along that narrow road. And the park is super crowded, even on weekdays. The facilities are also not as clean as some reviews indicate. Although the toilets & showers are clean, the PVC pipes under the sinks in the ladies shower were neglected and crusty with dirt! People brush their teeth over that mess. Our site [D21]was boggy, and next to an ancient, beat up trailer with 1 junk car, a car under a tarp + a vehicle for actually driving - 3 vehicles, plus the 24 ft trailer total. I got uncomfortable "Breaking Bad" vibes, and if we had kids with us, I would have left in a heartbeat! As it was, I kept things under lock because I got a sketchy feel from next door (& I'm from Detroit!). Although some sites were a bit bigger than others, because of the resident's "homey" sprawl, it was claustrophobic - decks, patios, sheds, doghouses, toys & LOTS of extra vehicles were everywhere. I expect campground clutter (We've been seasonal, too) but this place is a whole 'nother of level of trashy. On the plus, there's city water, the staff is friendly, very nice and really tries to please. The WiFi works pretty well. They also offer a camp store, nice pool and kiddo activities. The best I can say is, if you're not picky, have kids you want to exhaust, love endless sweeping, enjoy crowds & clutter, and don't mind camping next to what might be a druggie in a dilapidated trailer on the next site, Baldwin is the camping experience for you, near Grand Rapids. Cheap advice from a veteran RV camper, Baldwin Oaks: if you want to be an OG trailer park, just embrace it! Some folks are very cool with that, and that's OK. Forget marketing to RV travelers and stick with that residential thing. It's obviously your market and you should play to strengths. Us weekend warriors are seeking a better RV experience. Oh, and please clean those pipes in the ladies shower, under the sinks. You can really see that grime.

Family campground for everyone. Great pool and activities for kids and adults. Even though it is on the edge of town it feels like the country. Great for families wanting to visit Grand Rapids with all it's activities and then end the day at a quiet camp site.

This was our first time at Baldwin Oaks and we had a great time! Campsites were a decent size with full hook-ups, the campground/facilities/pool were clean, and the owners were very present and interactive with the guests. So many activies for the kids, definitely a family orientated place, and dog friendly. Central location if you'd like to explore areas like South Haven, Saugatuck, Holland, & Grand Haven - approximately 35 mins away from the campground. We will definitely be back! Tiny suggestion for the campground would be to trim back some the branches on the trees so they don't get caught on the trailers.

We had such a fantastic campground experience! Dan works so hard keeping everything in good condition and the pristine pool is definitely a highlight. Lots to do and great people there!

We recently stayed at Baldwin Oaks to try our first overnight in our "new to us" RV. The campground is clean, the pool was awesome and there were lots of family activities available including a very new/nice pickle ball court. The owner and his son in law Aiden we super helpful with our questions, visited us at our lot explaining not just the campground but also different things about set up and our RV that we were new to us. On the day we left the owner came past and noticed us working with putting up the awning and gave us some very helpful tips as well. They go out of their way to be helpful and friendly, Well done all!

Very laid back family oriented place, met tons of cool people. Very clean, Dan is always on the go keeping up on the grounds in some way. Endless amounts of wood being split, helping campers set up/tear down, leveling with dirt, etc. I haven’t ever experienced an owner as hands on as Dan, he is great, and my kids love him. Would love to be long term here!! Would recommend 11/10!!!
