Just a great campground, we enjoyed our stay very much! Between the peacefulness at our campsite, walking the dogs around the lake or cruising around in a golf cart checking out other set up for future inspiration, we would absolutely recommend. Their is so much to do and enjoy while staying here.

If you’re looking for an overpriced campground run like a personal kingdom by a power-hungry manager, this is the spot for you. Who needs peace and relaxation when you can enjoy being micromanaged by someone who seems to think they’re running a top-secret military base? Bonus points for the manager’s talent in twisting the truth just enough to get campers kicked out—because what’s a vacation without a little paranoia? The rates are laughably high for what you actually get. Mediocre amenities, a tense atmosphere, and the thrill of wondering if you’ll be the next guest targeted for no reason. Honestly, I’ve had warmer welcomes from airport security. Save your money, your sanity, and your weekend. Camp literally anywhere else.

This campground is beautiful and we love staying here. The staff is very helpful and willing to accommodate. We love being able to rent a golf cart and circle the campground throughout the day. They offer lots of activities over the summer and come up with such fun themes! It is very clean and they are constantly working to keep it that way. Highly recommend this campground!

We have stayed at the gate house for several years. It was always amazing. My husband had a kidney transplant so we weren't able to go for the last 3 years. We rented it in May. The hot water heater broke. We had 2 broken kitchen chairs. Cable only had a few channels. The one bedroom had no cable, the other had no TV. The bed was broken. They had to come put plywood on it. You weren't able to swim in the lake or rent paddle boats or canoes because they had no lifeguard. The store closed at 5 so you couldn't use the game room. The staff parked behind our car in the driveway twice a day to put their kids on the bus. We paid for a paint and sip. They made the mimosas with fruit punch sunny d. They were late setting up and only provided 3 colors of paint and no way to clean brushes. There was so much more wrong. I made them aware of my complaints and they didn't care. For the privilege they charged me $184 a day. We will not go back.

We stayed here May 2024 for our son's first time camping in it was excellent. We love the grounds and the amenities, plenty to keep our family and this toddler occupied. Some relatives camped at another site but still walkable. Others we rented cabins nearby. We all had a good time here. Great pool, great lake, friendly staff, clean campground. Really would like to be seasonal here some day.

Beautiful campground with a couple problems that were (mostly) corrected. As far as the campsite itself? 5 stars. It was a fairly spacious, fully wooded site with a concrete parking pad. We had a minor issue with the 30-amp electric sub panel not working when we arrived, but this was corrected within minutes of calling. The solution was to redirect us to use the 50-amp panel on the neighboring site, which curiously was assigned to our site. Interesting that our site's panel was clearly located on the cabin site immediately next to us. The major problem was that we booked two sites (same credit card at the same time) and asked that they be located next to one another. My wife called the day before to confirm this, which it was. Flash forward, while we were out visiting a couple local breweries, our guests arrived only to be told that they would not be next to us, and in fact be located 16 sites away from us. I had to physically drive back (interrupting our adventures) to get this resolved. They were able to move our friends to 2 sites over (1 other group between us). This was not ideal, but at least the campground did what they could. The final issue was we had an unexpected friend of ours come visit on Saturday night. Security informed us that it would be $30 for him to come in for 2 hours ($15 for his vehicle, which they would not let him park in the overflow parking area and $15 for him to visit). We paid, since the office was closed. The next morning, without me even needing to call the office, they informed us that this was a mistake, and they credited us $22 back to the card. All in all, a great visit and a very enjoyable campground. There seemed to be communication issues within the office, and this resulted in a couple issues. At the very least, I was able to get a mostly positive outcome from these issues. Hats off to the management team for getting these resolved, but the frontline employees could do a better job avoiding these issues in the first place.

We always have a fun family vacation at this campground. It offers a pet friendly cabin that we love. We enjoy the multiple pools, the swimming lake, and the fishing lake. They offer enclosed dog parks. Our family loves to come visit for the day while we’re camping here. The golf carts take you anywhere around the campground including the clean shower houses. In the Erving we bonfire and take the kids for a free tug boat ride. The big kids like the huge slide located in the lake. We also enjoy kayaking and canoeing when the sun goes down. Ice cream stand opens in the evening! They are a bit overpriced but to us it’s worth a clean- safe- camping trip!!

we are already at the halfway point in our week here at beachcomber and I’m so happy we chose to stay here, such a beautiful campground and so much to do with the kiddos! The staff is absolutely wonderful, thank you for giving us a vacation to remember 😊 I’m happy we never paid any attention to the negative reviews, seems like a lot of people just don’t know how to follow basic campground rules! We found out on our own how great this place was! Definitely worth the 5 hour drive from Massachusetts! If you want great camping fun, definitely book at beachcomber!
