This place could be amazing because the nature is beautiful and they have some sweet cats to pet, but unfortunately it has not maintained at all and looks to be in a state of disrepair. The buildings, including bathrooms and showers are in very poor condition. The floors are busted and peeling and the overall sanitation inside is very poor. The play structure is not secure, making it unsafe for children. Our kids climbed to top to go down the slide and it started to sway back and forth. We did not let our kids play on it after we saw this as it appeared it would tip over. The pool was huge but it was very cloudy, dirty, had green algae growing on the cement. It was also in dangerously poor condition. The plaster on the steps and the floor of the pool was broken and our entire family ended up with cuts. Many of the seasonal campers are run down with many people smoking pot everywhere. The rules say you can only smoke inside the camper but it wasn’t enforced at all. The cave was also promoted as “temporarily closed” but when we arrived we were told it was permanently closed. If you are coming to see the cave, be advised. If the place was fixed up to be safe and clean, we would consider returning but not before then.

First time ever being here, this place is really nice. Lots more stuff to do. More Than I thought, arcade pool, good place to bring the family.

We loved the location and feel of this campground since it’s on the river loaded with trees and had a festive celebratory (think rock and roll) atmosphere. Our first stay our RV site was ON the river. I loved it! It was great to just sit in the camping chair with a drink and watch the boats and jet skis go by. There’s also a small waterfall there which is pretty. It was a great campground to walk the dog and myself and had a few hills which I appreciated. The pool was nice and always had kids playing and more of an adult crowd at night. So, I have to mention that all the roads surrounding the campground had lots of pot holes and were not nice to drive on. Unfortunately, the laundry room experience wasn’t the best. It only had 2 working washers and 1 working dryer. In the restroom, 1 of the showers was missing a lock, the shower water pressure was good, but was kind of dark and could use updates and cleaning. We visited Warren Dunes State Park and the St. Joseph North Pier Inner Light. Overall, we loved the location.

RV park on the river with boat ramp, waterfall, pool and big clubhouse. There is a lot of open space and a short walking trail to the waterfall. Our spot was full hookups pretty big, dirt/grass driveway with not too much shade. Verizon service was ok t mobile very weak. There are spots on the river that are much smaller with no sewer conditions. The lady in the office is very nice and helpful. Roads in the park are dirt and there is one spot with tree branch very low -11 feet. The road leading to the park is narrow.
