I wrecked my motorcycle a few miles down the road, was given a lift up here to get service to call a tow company to get me home. These guys are awesome and go above and beyond. They came out and made sure I was ok, helped me connect my phone to their WiFi and get WiFi calling setup, checked in on me repeatedly for hours, and just made sure I was ok and taken care of. The food was excellent as well. You will not be sad giving these guys your business. They made a difficult day for me a very good experience. Took care of me for the entire afternoon and never allowed me to even begin to feel like a burden even though having someone taking up their small restaurant and lobby space was probably not easy on them.

We stayed in a cabin at Bear Paw and got in at 2 am that morning. Sink in the bathroom was leaking and it smelled funny but we were so tired we just went to bed. That morning we had rented a Pontoon boat from another company (Panguitch Lake Resort) to go fishing. We had a lunch ready to go so we headed out to go fishing. Place still smelled like gas. We needed to check in so went to check in. While checking in we told the Lady at the register about the leak and she called a guy to come fix it. We got back from fishing and still leak in the faucet and still had a gas leak smell. Went back to the lodge and they were closing up. Asked for some rags to help with the leak so it won't ruin the floor. They called the guy that was supposed to fix it and he said that he couldn't fix it because he would have to pull everything apart and it was the end of the season so he would wait until next week to fix it. They gave us the rags and we went back to the cabin. The owner came up and told us that the smell was propane because the pilot light had blown out on the stove. She lit them and told us they blow out when the door is open sometimes. The bed has really old sheets on it and is slanted so the blood rushes to your head. The stove is so old that we were afraid to use it to cook our dinner especially since it had been leaking so we just decided to leave. We had rented the place for 3 nights. The staff tried to be accommodating and were very nice. I hope they can update their cabin. Update: We were charged for the 3 nights even though we didn't stay only 1 night in very unsafe accommodations.

Absolutely loved my stay at Bear Paw. Before my trip, I have never even caught a trout. A friend of mine recommended bear paw and it surpassed my expectations entirely. The staff was helpful, friendly, and exactly the right kind of people who should be running an establishment like this. Bear Paw has been the highlight of my trip. I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you guys for everything!
