Great campground with what seems to have a lot for everyone there. They have a nice sized store with the essentials and many more (merchandise and toys for the kids). They have a nice looking pool, but I didn't go swimming. Their map is clear and easy to read. They even have events going on. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I went with a couple friends and had a great time. I'd definitely bring my family here.

We brought our standard poodle and stayed in the Grizzly cabin. We arrived on Thursday and left on Saturday. Our stay was just what we needed, relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you for the air conditioning and the awesome refrigerator in the cabin! We really appreciated being able to bring our dog and stay in a cabin. She also enjoyed her stay. I appreciated the multiple stations for disposing dog waste, and we took advantage of the dog run. I loved the dish-washing station!! It was so nice to wash dishes with hot water that I didn't have to heat on the fire. And, again, thank you for the waste disposal area at the dish-washing station. The bathrooms were clean and updated. I appreciated the shower that was adapted for someone with mobility issues - the bar to hold on to and the removable shower head. The staff was so friendly and welcoming too. They always asked us how our stay was going and wished us a good day. They really made the stay better with their bright smiles and cherry greetings. The Amish donuts were delicious too. We can't wait to return!!

Overall, my stay was great. I got to ride my bike around the whole campground, I was in C1 next to the pool The pool is labelled as heated but when I went it was very cold the whole week. The rentals were pretty cheap compared to other places. During the week renting anything is $39 a piece ($41 w/ tax) but the prices vary on when you go. (Holiday is most expensive). I loved this place with the cat being the mascot and every night he would visit my tent and beg my family for food.

The spaces for the camper trailers were sorta thin and we had a tree take up some of our usable space, but other than that, the bathrooms were clean, the roads were perfect, the pool was awesome, and there was plenty of entertainment. I'm definitely going to stay there again.

Really nice camp area! The whole area is really nice and well kept, great general store in case you forgot anything, they have some events to. There's a playground for kids and great swimming pool to. The "primitive" camping is kinda dense, but there's spots that are more secluded, there a nice selection depending on group sizes. There was breakfast at the main building this morning, I might take a trip just for that because it was so good lol! We'll definitely be back.

Great campground with nice amenities, even has nice woodsy tenting area. DO NOT rely on the map for tent sites. Ones that appear next to each other are not. Would recommend calling. Also the spring trout pond is literally spring only - in fall was a mostly drained swamp.

Bear Run is an extraordinary place with dedicated, friendly staff, a diverse collection of sites for RVs, campers, tents, with opportunities to be around others or to stay in deep woods sites and cabins. The camp store is awesome with one-of-a-kind gifts and unique camp wear and supplies. There is a heated pool, horseback riding, a playground, pavilions, music, on-site food, canoes and kayaks, hiking trails, and many extras. The lodge is cleverly decorated with antiques. What makes Bear Run(The Bear) so special is the people, both staff and campers. You will feel welcome, like family. It borders Moraine State Park and is very close to McConnell Mills State Park.

Was fairly quiet, it had lots of fresh air. There was respectful people all around. It has a camp store with basics, it's a nice quiet get away.
