14 day stay on site #22, very difficult to back into, undeveloped pad1 1/2 ft from front to rear, block your wheels good, dumpster right across road and smells, very nice view but the sites are old and for smaller rvs.

My wife and I are locals, we live near Whitney mountain chapel and love spending time swimming and exploring the beach and trails. Room for more.

Loved the close location to the water. Just note the campsites by the water don’t have water hookups. The bathhouse had 4 rooms/showers and all seemed to have some type of issue. The walls are also quite brown from the water staining/iron or something. Overall though great campsite and good location on the lake. Will stay here again.

Stopped by to check out the campground and the water access. Nice little peninsula with wide beach access. Fun drive through the hills to this location with good paved road.

My favorite place to camp since I was a little kid. The new camp hosts are very friendly.

As a maximum this campground was a one star for us . The camp host was great, but the campground has several challenges. The best and most beautiful sites along the water have NO WATER hookups . The bathrooms need a coat of paint and suffer from mineral deposit stains. The site we had #24 was rated for a 35’ RV. The site has a severe drop off and there are trees and a very narrow road to access it. We had to drive into the grass to be able to back into the site. With the rain and mud , it would have required a tow truck to get us out. Very frustrating site !

Just visited for a few hours. The boat launch ramp is great, but you need to be able to back your boat up and turn at the same time. If you depend on getting lined up straight before backing up, you're going to struggle here. The bathroom has a real flush toilet and a shower. Campsites seem to be level, with good solid surfaces and picnic tables. There were open sites when we visited mid-week in late July, but 90% were occupied.
