Was really looking forward to visiting this park, but was greeted by a very unfriendly worker in the front booth as you enter. Me and my friend hadn’t been here yet and were confused about the fees so we just wanted to quickly park and come back to the booth to not hold up cars behind us, but a lady (who was not in the booth upon arrival) came out of nowhere to start screaming at me about how I’m ridding the park of the funds they need to operate. Tried to explain I was simply confused and was wanting to walk back to the booth for clarification, but she wouldn’t even let me get my words out. Very unsatisfactory experience

Nice campground but really I think it could be made much better. The campsites are very close to the lake but just a little bit of trimming of trees would give campsites an actual view of the lake. The marina at the campground is huge, and actually seems very industrial in an otherwise beautiful area. There seems to be some real opportunity for trails and lookouts to have been built in this area but we're not. I think with some improvements this would be a five-star campground but without them it currently only Hits 3 to 4 stars at most for us. I will say there are quite a few good campsites in the area but there was only a couple of left in June when we went so reservations are needed. Finally be aware that this is an area that seems to attract really loud obnoxious diesel pickup trucks. Not quite sure why but just be aware it was quite noisy, probably because many of the people there had oversized vehicles to haul boats.

I feel lots 23 and 24 are death traps. They are right at the edge of a cliff. These lots especially lot 23 would be bad for anyone with small children, pets, or people with stability issues. The other lots seem to be okay. The bathrooms have toilets and showers. They are clean. Had toilet paper most of the time. The toilets I'm talking about are across from lot 23. The park as a whole was okay. The swimming area was kinda small and the beach area had wood and logs all over it. It also had trash on the beach and in the water. There aren't any trashcans there to put trash in. There is electric on the lots. No sewer no water. There is a water station and a dump station. There are parking spots around the park if you have guests. The park across from lot 23 only had one baby bounce thing and a swing set with only 2 swings. All in all we will not be staying here again.

Smallest and one of the oldest campgrounds in Beaver lake. They are working on updating, new showers/bathroom by entrance, rest are vault. Quiet, does not get as rowdy on holidays as some of the big campgrounds. Was originally designed for tents, so getting campers and rv's into some sites can be hairy. Only electric hookups. Water every 4 or 5 sites. 1 trail out to the 100ft bluffs, pretty. Need to work on some more trails. The marina and swim area needs work.

First off, the camp hosts were awesome. They were friendly and helpful in the extreme. Very happy with them. As for the park, it was a good park. Most everything is pretty brand new construction. However... that's part of the problem. The one and only bathrooms that are not vault toilets have clearly been just built. They are gorgeous. And the screws all over the ground right around thwm are all new too... didn't catch any in the motor home tires thank God (because they aren't cheap) but came close. Also, the spots are very weird. One spot had three camp areas in it and they seemed to be intended for campers as they were about 40 feet long each. But the drive into them made it impossible to get your camper in there. It was very weird. I have seen worse, but could have been better.
