We stayed here on Labor day weekend. The park is in the middle of the state. We made reservations online. We were there just a few minutes and the park ranger came up and asked us for park fees of $7 a night in addition of the site fees. Then asked about fishing. He said he didn’t know about fishing on the lake or what fish were in the lake. Thought that was odd for a park official of a very small park not to know. The site was flat. The hookup for water was shared with the next camper but not super close to the site so you need a long hose. We will most likely not come back to this campground if in the area.

We absolutely 💯 percent love this park. The lots are big so our 36ft motor home fit nicely. Bathrooms are immaculate. Plus you get your our shower room. If you have young children, it will work perfectly. Beautiful lake n beach. There is an auditorium where you ,if they have any, movies and watch the lake while doing it. A lot of hiking paths. Hook up include electric, water, and a dump in the park. Its quiet and 30 mins from the town of Wishek. Nice people. Will come back if we are heading this way on our full time journey.

Beautiful campground. We stayed in a cabin that had bunk beds for 5 people, plus a little play loft. Table, mini fridge and frezer, microwave, and air conditioning. Short walk to bathroom and shower house. Beautiful view from the deck.

Great park that is well maintained. Primitive sites have privacy except a trail runs right at the end of the site.

This was our first time at Beaver Lake State Park. It’s on the smaller side of campgrounds but very well maintained. The rangers and host were great. Visitors Center had some shirts, stickers, ice cream, and a lot of information about the park’s history. Some Smaller trails for a quick hike or much longer trails if you need more. A large playground/ field in the middle to run some energy off your kids. Great place to take your family. The lake was a lot of fun for paddle boarding too! There were a lot of different birds in the area too, fun for bird watching. We didn’t get to fishing this time but we will definitely be back. This little hidden gem is worth the trip.
