Beaver RV Park (Beaver City Park)
Overview
Beaver RV Park, also known as Beaver City Park, is a charming municipal destination located along the serene banks of the White River in Northwest Arkansas. This park is widely recognized for its proximity to the iconic **Beaver Bridge**, a historic one-lane wooden suspension bridge often referred to as the Little Golden Gate of the Ozarks. Visitors often describe the park as a peaceful retreat that offers a slower pace of life, making it a favorite for those looking to escape the more commercialized tourist hubs.
Location & Surroundings
Set against a dramatic backdrop of limestone bluffs and the shimmering waters of the White River, the location is perfect for those who enjoy water-based scenery. The park sits at the northern tip of the Eureka Springs area, where the river transitions toward the headwaters of **Table Rock Lake**. This unique positioning provides a lush, forested environment where the sound of the flowing water and the sight of the morning river fog create a naturally calming soundtrack for your entire stay.
Amenities & Park Features
The park provides a well-maintained campground that balances rustic charm with essential conveniences. Guests can enjoy several **RV sites featuring water and electric** hookups that accommodate various rig sizes. The park is designed to facilitate outdoor recreation with several key features:
- A convenient **on-site boat ramp** for launching kayaks and fishing boats.
- A central bathhouse equipped with clean restrooms and hot showers.
- Individual picnic tables and fire rings for traditional campfire experiences.
These features allow travelers to enjoy the natural beauty of the riverfront without sacrificing the basic comforts required for a multi-day stay.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Beyond the immediate beauty of the park, guests are just a short, scenic drive from the eclectic shops and historic winding streets of **Eureka Springs**. Outdoor enthusiasts can spend their days engaged in premier **trout fishing** on the White River or exploring the crystal-clear waters of the nearby lake. A visit to the breathtaking Thorncrown Chapel is also highly recommended, as it is one of the most famous architectural landmarks in the United States and is located just minutes from the campground gates.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is best suited for travelers who value a **rustic and authentic** camping experience over a luxury resort atmosphere. It appeals most to nature photographers, dedicated fishing enthusiasts, and couples looking for a quiet, scenic getaway. If you prefer a small-town vibe with incredible river views and easy access to historic landmarks, Beaver RV Park serves as an excellent basecamp for your Arkansas adventures.

GO - but read this first!!! Coming in, a few miles back, it says no trucks and a 9 foot bridge ahead! The low bridge is just past the campground turn in so that is not the problem. The problem is this year they put a 9’5” sign over the road on incoming traffic lane that you have to go into the other lane to get around. Once passed that sign you turn a slight left towards the water going down a slope and turn left at what looked like it was a general store. Once here, the place has beautiful views and very friendly hosts.

This place was awesome! Right next to the water with beautiful views. The sites are very level, and flat. I stayed here two nights and everything was perfect! Luckily my camper had a shower, because you have to pay to use their shower. Otherwise, this place is awesome! I would recommend for anyone to stay here, and will most likely come back.

We camped out here, camp hosts were very nice and helpful. Would suggest to bring 2 water hoses for city water, as spigots are shared. We were here in Nov. 2025, and was very quiet. Great view of the White River. Lots of trees, play area for little ones. They have very clean shower houses, cost is $2.00, so bring quarters.

We love this small quiet campground. The water is beautiful. Although the attendants change almost each year we are here, they are always working around the grounds.

I absolutely loved this campground! We stayed in spot #8 and I was a little worried about the traffic since it is located right next to the entrance and boat ramp but it was so peaceful and relaxing! The bathrooms were the cleanest camping bathrooms I have ever used. The views are amazing! Great swim beach! The hosts are so friendly and you can tell they take pride in keeping the campground clean and making sure everyone is comfortable. I loved to see all of the dogs around the campground!! We brought our two dogs and they loved it! We already reserved a spot for Labor day weekend because we had such a good time. Can't wait until our next trip :)
