Definitely will go back again. They had a pool , mini golf and horseshoes to play. They also had baby goats to hold and pet. Such a relaxing weekend. There are so many places within an hour away to take the family to and explore

Ruby River Reserve and Crystal Park are located one hour away. Clark’s Lookout State Park 20 minutes away with dinosaur fossils. Met friendly locals at the campground! Enjoyed the local area. Loved the sound of the train close by! Kids enjoyed their first camping experience.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Beaverhead River RV Park in one of the monthly spots for a full year. We had an amazing experience, where every day felt like a family camping trip. Being right on the Beaverhead River we were able to witness all of the seasons, from the many birds and flowers in bloom to the autumn leaves dropping to the ground. This park is truly beautiful- I took photos almost every day! The sparkling, heated pool opened each summer after the last frost, and children and laughter filled the “old school” play area. The laundry room is ideal with 4 washers and 4 dryers, 2 of which are oversized. There’s a convenience store that has Knick knacks and souvenirs, snacks, ice cream and emergency camping and RV parts. There’s also propane, firewood and ice available for purchase (we didn’t have to use those amenities, but they’re conveniently offered!) We also have two dogs that enjoyed the large Pet Run daily. The park is close to town and other outdoor activities, and fishing in the river is ideal. Lastly, the owners Pam and Bob are amazing. They work hard to keep the park running, and maintained. We couldn’t have asked for a better RV park to stay at for this past year. Do yourself a favor and check them out, you won’t be disappointed, they have something for everyone.

Great service and a very secluded feel, despite being close to amenities. Nice place to stay!

Pay attention to the reviews. There is a reason for them. Photos are actually really old, it doesn't really look like this anymore. Good luck finding staff, they are here for a few hours total. OH, they are annoyed as hell if there is a problem. I am betting those good reviews are from their friends not real campers period. BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS.

This place is nice!!!. Lots of grass, shade trees and the owners are wonderful. Free coffee and hot chocolate in the mornings. Bathrooms and showers work! There is a playground and fenced dog park. Nice little store. A 24 hour laundry room. Free Mini golf. If your not staying, dump is only $5 and water fill up. Full hookup sites. Electric/water sites, cabins for rent. And tent sites on the river! Worth a stay. Dillon is a cool little town with friendly locals.

I don't normally take showers in provided facilities but after a long hike I wanted a long hot shower and was I a happy camper! Not only hot but strong pressure to boot. The dog run is one of the best I've been to, grassy, trees, benches, and huge. The sites are all relatively flat, the pool looks inviting -lots of kids swimming while we were here. Great amenities, clean and cared for.

We spent a couple nights at Beaverhead River RV Park two separate times. It was quiet and comfortable. The hookups are very good: electric worked fine, water pressure was great for a nice shower and washing dishes, water tasted good, sewer hookup was very well placed. The sites are very close together and not overly long, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. The playground could use some updating, and the pool was out of commission while we were there. We found the bathroom/shower house to be very clean and pleasant to use. This worked fine for us for a couple nights while we were in the area.

Beaver head river RV resort. This place is by far the best RV park in the area. Weather you are coming through this area for one night or staying for a while, this place should be where you stay. The staff is wonderful and very helpful to your needs. Clean bathrooms and free coffee in the morning. It has the best sites for shade as well. If you like to fish, the beaver head river runs through the property and is an easy walk from your site to fish. There are hiking trails within a short walk with great views. No need to look for a campground around this area, this will not disappoint you at all.
