Bee's RV Resort

Overview

Bee's RV Resort offers a classic Florida experience in the heart of Lake County, catering to both seasonal visitors and year-round residents. This park is well-known for its welcoming community atmosphere and the famous on-site restaurant that brings neighbors together for family-style meals. It provides a comfortable, well-maintained home base for those looking to explore Central Florida while enjoying a quiet, residential feel that makes every traveler feel like a local resident rather than a temporary guest.

Location & Surroundings

Situated conveniently along Highway 27 in Clermont, this resort is surrounded by the rolling hills and picturesque lakes that define the Central Florida interior. The location is ideal for travelers who want to avoid the heavy congestion of downtown Orlando while maintaining easy access to regional highways. Guests often enjoy the scenic landscapes of Lake County, which offers a refreshingly green and hilly contrast to the flatter coastal regions typically associated with the state.

Amenities & Park Features

The facility includes spacious full-hookup sites equipped with 30 and 50-amp electrical service to accommodate modern rigs of various sizes. On-site conveniences are plentiful, designed to make long-term stays comfortable and worry-free:

  • Clean bathhouses and updated laundry facilities
  • Paved interior roads for easy maneuvering
  • A large clubhouse for community social events

A standout feature is the Honey Bee’s Restaurant, which serves popular family-style meals right on the grounds, while the shuffleboard courts provide daily opportunities for active recreation and socializing with your neighbors.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Nature lovers will appreciate the proximity to Lake Louisa State Park, which offers hiking, fishing, and kayaking just a short drive from the resort gates. For those interested in local culture, the Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards provides tastings and tours throughout the year. Additionally, the park serves as a convenient gateway to the major Orlando theme parks, allowing visitors to experience world-class entertainment before returning to their peaceful, wooded retreat away from the crowds.

Who This Park Is Best For

This resort is particularly well-suited for active seniors and retirees looking for a friendly social community or a comfortable winter nesting spot. It also appeals to families and solo travelers seeking a secure, quiet environment that feels more like a neighborhood than a transient stopover. I asked to be under a tree, because I have plants in my van, they are for oxygenation at night. It rained all night, I was in a mud hole next morning. Asked for a 110 hookup, got a 330, they said that is what I requested, moved me the next day so I could plug in my jackery, then moved me again to another tree, could smell sewer everytime someone flushed, and the space was an ant hill, also electric did not work, they had to come replace the outlet. Pool was nice, but needed to be cleaned, restrooms smelled like sewer also. They were clean, and the showers and laundry were an added plus. The staff were pleasant, and tried very hard to be accommodating. The spaces were way too close together, it was unnerving to have windows looking right into yours. Would never stay here again. Did not tell my friends about all the problems. I hope you all the best, blessed be.

The individuals who took the photos of the campground deserve an award! Campground looks run down comparatively. And the roads are way too tight. The picture that shows campers on the cobblestones, yeah, that’s only a few spots. Otherwise, looks like you are in a parking lot. The price is way too expensive compared to other local campgrounds. Staff weren’t friendly either after we said we were going elsewhere due to the mismatch online versus in person.

This is truly an RV Resort that deserves the name Resort. The staff is so nice and helpful. The Resort is very well maintained. Grass always cut, common areas clean, no junk in front of people's spots, many activities, safe and quiet. I hope to be back one day. Thanks to all the office and maintenance staff for all the great work they do !

All the spots are too close to each other. I would prefer more room to the next rv, but they don't have any spots that are spaced out. The overall park is nice and they have lots of activities. It's OK. Not great.

Some people are very rude that work in th office. We had our dog and he went after the one particular maintenance man and jumped up on him. The guy had a fit and they accused our dog of being vicious which he isn't. He Didn't like that particular one but something about that guy scared him and I trust my dogs instincts. We would never go back there. One woman that worked there with short hair kept following me and my dog every time I took him for a walk and I cleaned up after him every time. I don't know what she was expecting to find following us on her golf cart. She was so rude. Some act like they are better than you.
