Beebe Bridge Park

Overview

Beebe Bridge Park is a scenic gem located along the banks of the Columbia River. Managed by the Douglas County PUD, this park is celebrated for its lush green lawns and direct water access. Unlike many arid stops in Central Washington, this destination offers a refreshing, park-like atmosphere. It serves as an ideal basecamp for those wanting to explore the Chelan area while staying in a well-maintained, tranquil environment that feels like a hidden oasis along the river.

Location & Surroundings

Situated in Orondo, Washington, the park is positioned right next to the iconic Beebe Bridge. This prime location offers stunning views of the Columbia River and the rugged hills of the Wenatchee Valley. Travelers will appreciate the easy access to Highway 97, making it a convenient stop for those heading toward the Canadian border or exploring the North Cascades. The surrounding landscape is dominated by vast orchards and vineyards, reflecting the rich agricultural heritage of the region.

Amenities & Park Features

The park features 46 spacious sites equipped with electric and water hookups, making it a reliable choice for big rigs and smaller campers alike. Visitors can take advantage of the dual-lane boat launch and a protected swimming area for summer cooling. For active recreation, the grounds include tennis courts and a playground, all maintained to a high standard by the local utility district. The availability of a dump station and clean restroom facilities ensures a comfortable stay for both overnight and multi-day guests.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Its proximity to the town of Chelan is a major draw, placing world-class wineries and cideries just a short drive away. Boating enthusiasts can spend their days on the Columbia River or head to Lake Chelan for more expansive water sports and sightseeing tours. For a quieter afternoon, the nearby Chelan Falls Park offers additional walking paths and birdwatching opportunities. The area is also famous for its seasonal fruit stands, providing fresh local produce just minutes from your campsite during the harvest months.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is best suited for RVers who enjoy a manicured, resort-style vibe within a public park setting. Families will love the safe swimming areas and wide-open spaces for children to play safely under the sun. It is also an excellent choice for boaters and anglers looking for easy river access and a high-quality place to launch their craft. If you prefer a tranquil riverside evening over the crowded atmosphere of the neighboring resort towns, this is the perfect spot for your next Washington road trip.

Immaculately clean bathrooms!! Beautiful covered picnic area! Picnic tables near water with lots of trees for shade in the summer. I am sure this place is packed in the summer!! There are 2 pickleball courts and a tennis ball court. 2 Basketball nets… All very nicely maintained!! Nice little buoyed beach. There are geese which is the only problem I see- (Maybe they go elsewhere during the summer)???

The friendly staff have done a fantastic job of maintenance! The bathrooms are kept clean. A boat launch, kids playground and swimming area with ample parking. I hope the pictures help do it justice because this place is an absolute gem!

TOP NOTCH! Beautiful campground on shore of Columbia River. Long paved parking pads and exposed aggregate picnic pads. Quality metal picnic tables. Huge wide open grassy space between sites. Sites are level. Price of $35 is s bargain compared to other options.

Clean, friendly, quiet hours were usually followed (one night a party went well after midnight across from our site). Beautiful grounds, well kept and bathrooms/showers were clean. Dock around swimming area would be nice but overall loved it!
