Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Beyond the park boundaries, visitors can explore the expansive Natchez Trace State Park, which offers miles of hiking trails and additional fishing opportunities. The local area of Lexington features charming dining spots and local shops for those who want a taste of small-town Tennessee life. Golf enthusiasts will find several courses within a short drive, while the lake itself remains the primary draw for boating and largemouth bass fishing. The blend of natural parks and local history provides a well-rounded itinerary for any visitor.

They're closing for a complete remodel..... and it really needs it! Should be an interesting transformation but they still won't have "full hook-ups", you water and power only.

Love this campground, been visiting for 25+ years. Looking forward to the renovations this fall. A lot of work needs to be done regarding upkeep in all areas. The on site manager is professional and friendly. Bath house is clean, pet friendly sites and our family enjoys our time there! Beautiful lake!

Had an absolute blast over memorial weekend! The new management that took over were hands down the best I’ve come across. Very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the cabin on the water and had the best time. Definitely our new getaway spot!
