Very clean and quiet place to camp. Surprisingly few mosquitoes. Campsites are clean and well maintained. Bathrooms could use a little more lighting, but also well maintained. My wife and I had and enjoyable experience there on our way to see our son graduating Marine Corp bootcamp.

Beautiful place to camp. I was absolutely thrilled with a beautiful condition of the campground. There is plenty to do and see. I will certainly come back.

Let me 1st off say, this place is awesome. This has to be the best campground we have ever stayed. Extra friendly staff, Lee is an awesome guy. It stormed on us when we first arrived, Lee called and made sure we were ok, considering we were staying in a tent. They have where you can park at the top of the boat ramp area, then a very short walk, bring your stuff to go fishing, on the banks or at their dock. Extra clean campgrounds, restrooms with showers. The common areas are clean, just very helpful and friendly people everywhere.

This camping site is a beautiful and peaceful retreat nestled near Belton Lake. The natural surroundings create a serene atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding from city life. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The facilities are well-maintained and include everything you'd need for a comfortable camping experience. While the RV sites don't have direct waste hookups (which would have been convenient), they do provide accessible waste dumping facilities elsewhere on the grounds. All other hookups and amenities were present and functioning perfectly. One of the best aspects was the safety and family-friendly environment. The proximity to Belton Lake public beach is a major plus, giving us easy access to swimming and water activities during our stay. Do note that it gets quite hot during daytime hours, so come prepared with shade options and plenty of water if visiting during warmer months. Overall, a wonderful camping experience in a gorgeous natural setting with attentive management. Would definitely return!

Live Oak is our more frequented stop. The grounds are very well kept and we enjoy the fact that there is no day traffic. The park is well shaded and family and dog friendly. The location is super convenient to town for those forgotten items. There is a small playground that the kids seem to enjoy when they are taking a break from fishing or riding their bikes. Mr. Lee is always so friendly and really makes our stay wonderful. If you see him around the grounds he is happy to answer any questions you may have.

Stayed 10 days, beautiful park, extremely clean facilities. Level and well kept sites.

They don't allow anyone to launch from this great boat ramp unless you have a reservation in the campground. What a waste of a great boat launch location. So I have to drive further to arrowhead to launch.

Outstanding park. Clean, spacious, friendly host. Great Lake access to launch your boat. Inexpensive. Would go again. Gem of a park.

Went to look around at their spaces which was very pretty and clean! The park attendants were two of the nicest people. We will be visiting and staying there! More to come!

Just beautiful. This has to be one of the best Corp of Engineer parks we ever visited. Electric and water included and very large campsites. Covered picnic tables, fire ring and grill. Very clean and well maintained.
