Strange mix of trailer homes, permanent residents and overnight visitors like us. No one is available at the entrance and check in is via QR code. Our site backed up to a hilly section of freeway where we were interrupted often by truck air brakes. The site was fairly level, but services are not well thought out. The picnic table is nowhere near the fire pit. Water and electricity are very far apart and the dump attachment was at an angle that wasn't going to work for us. An overhead parking lot style light blinked off and on randomly. We could smell dog poop. The back of the site was full of trash. Skip this one, especially for the price

I have been here a few weeks out of a month booking. Yes the place is not one where you want to be for anything, but an overnight stay. There is no on site management, store or anything besides a laundry room and the campsites. That being said it was only $700 a month for a full hookup. The place is clean, the residents are quiet, and the traffic noise is bad during rush hour. The locstion, however, has been good for us. We went here after a week at the York Fairgrounds and planned to go to the Hershey show which is about an hour away. Overall we have really liked York and found this location pretty much close to everything we needed or wanted. I could have gotten a campground that had more amenities (that I probably would not use), but I also would have had to pay a lot more for it. This place was great for a place to settle for a month until we drive to our next stopover point and it certainly did not break the bank. This translates into being able to do more and have better experiences in the area such as going out more, a baseball game at Camden Yards, a concert with one of my wife's favorite bands in Lancaster, and going to the big RV show in Hershey twice.

If you’re only passing through for the day/night and need a place to rest and need full hook up, then it’ll work in a pinch. It is in a convenient location. There’s no one on site, you text a number if you need anything or have issues/questions. Multiple full time residents. Sites are not well maintained, high grass/weeds, full dumpsters, dirty bathrooms/showers.

My goal in leaving reviews was to limit myself to positive reviews and just not post anything for negative ones. This said, I think a traveler should not be fooled by their attractive website photos of the Ben Franklin RV park. I speculated that maybe this park is a side hustle for an owner who doesn’t want to put too much effort into their facility (other than a banquet room). There is nobody on site to help with any issues that should arise. You can text a number, but that is it. Our site was okay but make sure you have extensions on your hoses because the water, dump or power can be far away. There were people who requested (and confirmed) full hook ups that didn’t get it. One poor fellow with a 5th wheel couldn’t fit in his site but luckily he swapped with someone else. Another site was double booked. Other sites had big dips and the park can be very tight to navigate. The lovely picture of their bathroom is in their banquet room - the reality of their showers and laundry room are quite different. For us, the location was good for moving to the York Fairgrounds the next day. But all this aside, I would not return here unless I absolutely had to. Hands down the worst park we have stayed at.

The sites are not peaceful or pretty. Close to a major highway so lots of road noise 24/7. Or sewer was t working/draining. Some of the full timers had a lot of trash piled up outside. The fountain was off. But it is an easy on/off place and could be convenient when traveling. The online reservation and registration was easy. The text I sent for help when the site I rented didn’t work for us was immediate, upbeat, and very helpful. So the help staff was awesome!
