This was the best place I ever grew up . We had so many family and friends that we kept our trailers there all year long. We would spend all of our summers there and my Dad would commute from there to Menomonee Falls WI to work and back. We were called locals. Us kids would get ready in the evening to head to the BARN, to play music and pool while the parents sat around the designated regular campers fire. We would play jarts with the parents and they always had happy hour at around 4 pm where another camper hosted the event each evening. It was free living and nothing to be afraid of. We could explore, hike swim and do we wanted . We did have certain times of the day we had to come and check in. It was a great life and something I will never forget. Thank you Benson's for making my childhood a wonderful memory. We used to know this family so very well. I am now 60 years old so I have zero idea who is left of the Benson family. Love to you all.

Camp here a lot. Doesn't have all the amenities as many campgrounds, i.e., pools, but it's on the lake. If you have a boat you can rent a slip which is very convenient vs pulling it out everyday. The launch needs updating but you can always launch from the state park too..

Perfect place to CAMP! No pool, but sand beach. They rent boats, kayaks or pier for your own. Spacious sites, awesome people. General store, game room. Loved it so much I got a seasonal site. This is camping and connecting to nature, you won't find golf carts racing around or a 24/7 party here.
