Nice staff. Campsite highway noise is extremely loud if you are on the highway side. We had a sound machine and it did nothing to block the noise, but only passed through for a one night stay.

As a First time camper they made my experience great. I have been wanting a Camper for a very long time I work for the Rail Road and got tired of the Hotel rooms. For the first time in 24 years of working and traveling I felt like I was home away from home. They was very helpful and made my stay there very good and was so helpful with telling ne things about my new Camper that I didn't even know. I mean her husband guided me to help me back it up in a spot. Thanks KoA of Benton ills.

We got in around 11pm last night and were met by a worker who immediately helped us get the after hours check in filled out…. And then courteously guided us to our site and talked us through the amenities. Very appreciative of the kind help. The campsite/rv site is very nice. Little patio. Very clean. Only drawback would be that it is right on the interstate… so lots of vehicle noise/some sores are a little bit too close for my comfort…. But that is part of “just off the route” camping…. I will definitely be staying again. (Only about a mile off of I57… not hard to get to at all).

The staff are friendly and helpful, the site is level and it has all the hook-ups needed, but for $65 I expected nicer restrooms. That's the only reason I took off 2 stars. We stayed on the pond side in order to be away from highway noise, which costs more, but the restrooms and shower are way more rustic than I expected.

I was quite amazed by how beautiful it was even though it's relatively close to the interstate. It was rather quiet, and the view around the pond area is gorgeous. This time of year. Being located rather close to the interstate makes it really quite convenient, especially when you consider it's relatively close proximity to three neighboring states, (1hr from Kentucky Missouri, and Indiana), and of course all the amazing wineries and boating/fishing /swimming out at rend lake, which is located right here, no more than just a few miles away at most! St. Louis is less than two hours away, via I-64 in Mt Vernon, Illinois, (30 minutes North up I-57 or North up highway 37)

One of my favorites in Illinois. Stop there every time to and from Florida. They have a Barber shop in their camp store which is better than most others.

What nice people to charge me the full amount when EF2 tornadoes are coming through.Hope my money fixes people who have no consideration for peoples safety

Easy in out. Was a late check in but still greeted and escorted to our site which was extra long and accommodated our big rig. Only negative was the sweet gum tree balls right out our front door and close to the interstate. The side with the pond would be quieter. Will stay again and thank you for being there.

This was a wonderful campground! Everyone who works there was so nice, and the sites were great! They were very large with a nice yard, and they were very level. We will definitely stop here again when we are in the area!

Staff was awesome. Spent one night and it snowed overnight and staff came to our site and cleaned off our steps from the snow. Above and beyond staff normally would do. Thanks

One of my favorite KOA's. Peaceful love the wooded setting. Cabin was warm and welcoming when we arrived. The dim lighting option instead of overhead light in the cabin made for a relaxing stay.

This is a lovely KOA. We stay and have stayed at several KOAs across the US. We stayed in a deluxe cabin. These particular cabins are beautiful. They were made by the Amish and they are perfection. The owner added some personal charms of her own. Yes, there's road noise but what KOA doesn't have road noise? They are all situated off highways for easy access! This campground is clean and homey. We loved it.

We stayed for a quick 12 hour overnight while traveling through. We arrived after hours and someone was still working to help us find our spot (although I think she was trying to leave for the night). After finding our location and realizing that we were separated from our travel partners, they let us move to another unoccupied place for the night ... very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Although we did not use any of the amenities, it seems as if it would be a nice place to spend a weekend, at least around the pond. Not to crowded and a peaceful setting with swings and the dock. Not sure about the main campground, spent no time over there. This KOA does seem to be a little out dated, but all of it was closed for the season, so I can only base that off of what I say when I arrived during the off season. I would not hesitate to return for a weekend getaway if I traveled that way again.

Spent 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Quiet and very peaceful setting. We were escorted to our site which was long enough for our 42 ft fifth wheel and 450 dully! HAD A BEAUTIFUL WATER VIEW!!! Very nice office staff! Very pet friendly. We had no children with us but lots of play equipment for children! Walmart very close too! Would definitely stay again!
