Nice staff. Campsite highway noise is extremely loud if you are on the highway side. We had a sound machine and it did nothing to block the noise, but only passed through for a one night stay.

As a First time camper they made my experience great. I have been wanting a Camper for a very long time I work for the Rail Road and got tired of the Hotel rooms. For the first time in 24 years of working and traveling I felt like I was home away from home. They was very helpful and made my stay there very good and was so helpful with telling ne things about my new Camper that I didn't even know. I mean her husband guided me to help me back it up in a spot. Thanks KoA of Benton ills.

We got in around 11pm last night and were met by a worker who immediately helped us get the after hours check in filled out…. And then courteously guided us to our site and talked us through the amenities. Very appreciative of the kind help. The campsite/rv site is very nice. Little patio. Very clean. Only drawback would be that it is right on the interstate… so lots of vehicle noise/some sores are a little bit too close for my comfort…. But that is part of “just off the route” camping…. I will definitely be staying again. (Only about a mile off of I57… not hard to get to at all).

The staff are friendly and helpful, the site is level and it has all the hook-ups needed, but for $65 I expected nicer restrooms. That's the only reason I took off 2 stars. We stayed on the pond side in order to be away from highway noise, which costs more, but the restrooms and shower are way more rustic than I expected.

I was quite amazed by how beautiful it was even though it's relatively close to the interstate. It was rather quiet, and the view around the pond area is gorgeous. This time of year. Being located rather close to the interstate makes it really quite convenient, especially when you consider it's relatively close proximity to three neighboring states, (1hr from Kentucky Missouri, and Indiana), and of course all the amazing wineries and boating/fishing /swimming out at rend lake, which is located right here, no more than just a few miles away at most! St. Louis is less than two hours away, via I-64 in Mt Vernon, Illinois, (30 minutes North up I-57 or North up highway 37)
