Nice quiet campgrounds to stay at. Friendly staff. Although hard to navigate after dark. Showers were full of leaves. But for most part a good stay

This little campgrounds is set in wonderful place. The campgrounds staff was super nice. The sites were level and clean. We had forgotten a few things for our weekend and was able to get most of it from their little store. Our day out was successful with a short drive to Frankenmuth. I would definitely recommend this place. Don't pay any attention to those negative reviews. I seen nothing like what they described.

Was traveling to bronner’s in Frankenmuth, we are big campers so we preferred a campground over a hotel. Found a cabin here and had such a great time! From the live band, to the karaoke, to the staff and seasonal campers treating everyone like family we really had the best time & met some great people! Our cabin was so cozy and clean also! If we are ever up that way again we know where we will be staying! 😊

Our campsite was under water. We were led to the site by someone who jumped off his golf cart and plowed thru the water to wave us in. As we turned the corner and made the move to put in reverse, discovered he had parked his cart in the road and our camper side swiped it. Gash in the side of our camper. Brand new, first camping trip for us with it. He went and moved the cart and started waving us on to the site. As we started into Reverse, he screamed to us, “Put It In 4 WHEEL DRIVE!!” Another worker came running up and took over, parking us in at a slight angle so our steps were over a little bit dryer of an area. Had we known where they were placing us, I wish we would have insisted we view the site before we threw our hard-earned money at them for 2 additional nights. We would only have been out $40 which we placed as deposit. Neighboring campers had their electrical hookups laying in water and draped over picnic tables. This review unfortunately is being written as a negative review is mostly due to the dismissive office staff personnel. Our stay started on a Friday and it was Sunday late afternoon before there was a dry spot to sit outside and have a campfire. Even if a site visit would have been made, to check on our hook-ups and just plain common courtesy knowing our outdoor weekend had us traipsing through thick mud and water instead of enjoying what we paid for.

Stay here twice a year, a great family oriented camp ground. Amenities are always in good shape. Haven’t been swimming but always see kids at lake. Spacious playgrounds. Halloween camping is amazing! The haunted trail is a great time!
