Beyond the immediate nature preserve, Georgetown offers a wealth of local activities. Visitors can explore the historic town square, which is widely considered one of the most beautiful in the state of Texas. Adventure seekers can head to Inner Space Cavern to see ancient geological formations or spend a day at Lake Georgetown for boating and fishing. The park's location also serves as an excellent home base for day trips into downtown Austin, which is located less than an hour to the south.

There are no rooms at this RV park. The people here are friendly and accommodating. The location is great for groceries, eating, and events in Georgetown. It is also close to Austin if you like the nightlife. Highly Recommended.

Friendly staff. Quite park. Popular compared to parks in the area. For me this is due to the honorable and traditional business practice.

We came into the Austin area with our trailer needing a place to stay overnight while visiting relatives. This RV park fit the bill for proximity. This park is basically residential with a couple of opportunity slots for overnight guests. We stayed two nights. Our site was gravel and fairly level and next to the office. It was easy to back into. The site manager and maybe owner Shirley or Sheila sorry I don't remember was very courteous and helpful. The site had a concrete pad with a table and a couple of chairs. The utility pedestal worked fine. There is a clean bath house and restrooms next to the office. There is a nice shaded patio next to the office for guests. The guest facilities seem fairly new. This RV park was good for us as an overnight stay. The only downside is that we got infested with tiny sugar ants. The area is extremely dry and I should have prepared beforehand for the ants.
