Wonderful, clean, spacious sites. End of season (early Oct 2025), so many owners left for the winter, which made for a very quiet few days. Walked our dogs on the trails across the street at the state park camping sites and hiked down by the lake. Beautiful views of sunset from all around grounds. I have seen some of the largest Crows and Blue Jay's that rival Seqouia birds, which become huge from good eating. Thanks Big Bear Shores!!!

The place is beautiful. Most rv sites are from people who live there so the place is very well kept. The landscaping is stunning and you will be surrounded by pine trees and just a walk away from the lake. The bike path just outside the resort is out of this world beautiful. It is very quiet and you won't see lots of kids or kid friendly activities but for us it was ok. The kids enjoyed the surroundings anyway.

Not Worth the Price - Unwelcoming for Holidaymakers We were excited for a family trip to Big Bear RV Park, but left disappointed. While the views from our lakeside site were beautiful, the experience overall was underwhelming and overpriced at $270/night. From the start, we were handed a full sheet of rules — many highlighted — which felt excessive (no WiFi despite being standard in every KOA). It quickly became clear that this park prioritises permanent residents over short-term guests. As a family of five, we were only given four patio chairs, and despite asking, no extra was provided. We had pool access but were never given codes for the shower rooms. The beautiful outdoor kitchen area, advertised as part of the amenities, was off-limits — we were told it’s because “people don’t clean up,” which is not an acceptable reason when charging premium rates. Overall, we felt like second-class visitors. Friendly staff couldn’t make up for the rigid rules and lack of basic hospitality. We won’t be returning.

Wonderful RV campground right along Big Bear Lake. Staff were excellent. Stood on lot 52, wonderful site. Also great bike route along the lake and two pickle ball courts.

Big Bear Shores RV Resort is a gem! The entire park was extremely clean, well-maintained, and impressively quiet—perfect for a peaceful getaway in Big Bear. We really appreciated the calm atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. It’s clear the staff takes great care of the property. If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be the addition of a designated dog area. That would make it even more convenient for guests traveling with pets. Overall, we would highly recommend this RV resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and upscale RV experience in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

Very nice RV resort. Great views and very close to the water. Will be coming back soon. Only certain large size RVs are allowed. Very quiet place for relaxing 😎

If you can make the drive up the mountain I would recommend BBS. After a long haul from Vegas and up the backside of the mountain from Barstow it was a relief to pull in and get the warmest welcome we have had in sometime. We were greeted by a beautiful smiling young lady that checked us in. Once that was done we were given a gift bag with treats and ice cream. This doesn’t sound like a lot but after battling triple digit heat for weeks and fighting hair pin turns, switchbacks and ascending more than 4,000 feet in 30 miles this was just what we needed. The resort is really clean as are the facilities. The laundry takes quarters only. The pool and spa are open and very clean. There is no water access from the resort tho, water level is really low. I was on site 4, which was a little ran down but everything worked. Thank you Big Bear Resort for a great time and thank you for the hospitality.
