We are staying in the RV park at Big Bend station. It is quiet, clean and we have everything we need. We have a 1969 Shasta so no shower, there is a shower on site, and a bathroom. Everything was nicer than we expected, staff is helpful. Very close to big bend. There is also a gas station convenience store with a Cafe in the same parking lot. A dollar general a few blocks away. We will stay here again and refer our friends.

Impression was that campers would have access to showers and restrooms. The restrooms needed a code for entry. Showers were coin operated ($2 - 6 minutes). We've been here before but had stopped coming when we got here and plumbing issues caused the restroom/showers to be unusable. Thought we would try it again. First code we were given did not work. When we reported it, we were told they "would get to it". When asked if that would happen that day, the clerk just shrugged his shoulders. It was fixed by the end of the day. But still, very inconvenient and deplorable service.

We were there for 3 nights. During that time, our room was never serviced. After the 2nd night, I asked why our room had not been serviced. The reply was “We don’t service rooms every day”. They did give me some fresh towels though. The really irritating part was an envelope had been left in the room so that we could tip the staff. Our room was #12. It did not connect to the WiFi because of distance from the router. We also only had acct to satellite TV for 15 minutes before it stopped working. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable and room was clean when we arrived.

5 out of 5. The rooms were neat and clean. Value for the money. The location is just few miles away from the national park entrance / visitor center. The font desk closes at 8 PM. But they keep the keys ready and available even if you arrive late. The front desk is friendly . They do have a games room where kids can spend time. There is no free breakfast. The gas station / store is next door which has all the basic supplies for the trip. The location is family friendly. I would strongly recommend for families looking for decent over night statys.

Not sure why the rating isn’t higher? We just got back home today from being out here for a few days. The location of this place sold me! I gave it a shot. The room was clean, the water pressure was Perfect. But the bed was hard manageable but I’m picky I like soft beds so I’m not hating. But the rules they have make this place quiet and I love that. No bugs in the room. The front desk is super nice like holy cow!! The whole town is nice! I would stay here again and again. We stayed in the pink room idk what it’s called I already forgot but you can see the Santa Elena canyon from the door and when you open your window! I added some photos that were taken from the parking lot next to our hotel room.
