Very quiet campground. Clean bathroom with decent showers. Large open sites.

Great place to camp, with relatively private spots surrounded by trees. Plenty of hiking trails, as well as a secluded pond beach about a 2 mile hike from camp. Would reccommend everyone staying at big deer to hike the cold water brook trail, and the deer mt. Summit trail, great views and the hike is only of moderate difficulty. Bathrooms are satisfactory. The showers do take a minute to heat up and lack pressure, but its the middle of the woods, and at 50 cents for every 4 minutes, I can't complain. Prepare to lose all cellular and internet connection within 30 minutes of camp. It's best to have a map on hand, or something like google maps which will still show your location even offline. A bit of a drive away from anything though, so prepare for that.

A little quieter and more remote than the nearby Stillwater State Park. Very clean bathrooms.I would highly recommend this campground. However, site 19 is not ideal unless you require close proximity to the bathroom.
