I stayed at the park for the first time in 25 years. It's still beautiful. Camped the west unit. Area was spacious and clean. The water fill at the ranger station is slow! 30 to 45 minutes to fill. Walking trails, horse trails and disk golf are great, very well kept. If you are going to mountain bike, they looked at little grown over, early in the year might be different. All in all it's a very nice facility. Outstanding service Marathon County Parks and Rec.

Held a family wedding in the pavilion on the west side. It's was magical. After the torrential rain and severe thunderstorms moved out the sunset was beautiful. The pavilion itself needs alot of work and some major cleaning. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean but lighting would be a welcome improvement. Overall it was a pleasant experience and many amazing memories were made.

Awesome park, has a ton of horse, walking and bike trails with a bunch of campsites and places for fishing. I saw a bunch of wildflowers and critters

This is one of my favorites to camp at. There's been a lot of rain so some things are a little flooded right now. The bathrooms are pit toilets but are very clean! It's a quiet Campground and has a great beach. Lots of hiking trails and horse riding trails

Haven't been here since before I moved to Florida. Not sure why it took me 8 years to get here since moving back. This is a big, gorgeous park. There is a lot of beach here, plenty of places to fish from and put boats in, many shelters, grills, restrooms, camping areas, and a playground. Even though we came late in the year (the Mead side of the lake seemed to have lost the majority of its leaves already), the views were still outstanding. Didn't see any deer, but there were plenty of birds and small critters running around. This park is well worth visiting. There is currently a pretty bad blue-green algae bloom. If you bring a dog, make sure to keep them away from the water. There are a few Pokestops spread throughout the park. We did not see any gyms. We had very weak signals here, though.
