One of the cleanest lakes I've seen. Beech area is so nice. Umbrellas for public use. Love it

We have gone in a weekday which is nice, because it's not very busy. We went in a Saturday and it was busier but still was fun. The swimming area is all sand and has a few umbrellas. You will have to get there early to reserve one though. The bathrooms there smelt horrible and doesn't provide toilet paper but beats going behind a tree lol. Has a spot to wash the sand off your feet and does have a shower area but I didn't look at it very well.

Pretty windy the day I went! Still gorgeous! Love the views and the water and lots of birds on the water! New upkeep and rock maintence on the picnic areas. Very nice!

Fall camping was very quiet. Only a few campers. Plenty of firewood nearby. Nice covered picnic areas and playgrounds.
