Quiet little campground, food access to water. Short drive to Lake Charles with plenty close by. Very friendly owner. Not a resort but very livable. Landry on site.

I’ve been here multiple times and have always been happy with the service from the owners. They are quick to respond to any concerns and are happy to help with whatever they can. They do their best to ensure a quiet and enjoyable atmosphere for their guests and it’s proven with plenty of long term rentals. The rates are great and the views by the lake are gorgeous in the evenings. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay for either a night or a month.

Excellent RV park located perfectly between town and all the local fishing spots. Duane the owner is a wonderful person who takes much pride in his business and it shows.

Great RV Park! It’s a clean, quiet RV Park with new washers and dryers. There is fishing right on site. The owner Duane and groundskeeper JD are down to earth, friendly, and very helpful. Give this place a try, you’ll be happy you did.

We stayed at Big Lake RV the last time we visited my Son and his wife (who Owns Nina P's Café), in Lake Charles. and the Owner, Duane makes sure the Park stays Clean and Safe, and Only the Very best 'Campers' stay there. We are calling to hopefully make Reservations to stay there again, later this month. The Sun going down over the water there is Beautiful!

This is the best RV you would ever want to stay at. The owner is so helpful and the place was cleaned up great offer 2 hurricanes. Very safe and all the people staying there that I encountered were top notch. If you need a place to camp be sure and choose this park.

Big Lake was my 1st time living in a RV. We lived there for almost 2 years. Very peaceful, quiet and beautiful!! The owners are very nice! Great for weekenders and long term staying.

If you can get the pad at the back of the park it's a great place. You're parked right on the lake and the fishing is great!

Best place to stay in the Lake Charles area! The camp area is very nice! Very well priced and has a laundry room! There is a lake on the camp ground as well as Calcasieu Lake and more fishing and boating is right next door. The owners are the best you could ask for; extremely friendly and helpful! Best kept secret around! HIGHLY recommended to anyone who’s looking for a place to stay!
