On our way thru on Route 66 we stopped by. The campground is a work in progress. The staff is working hard, doing a great job. The bathrooms are newly renovated, laundry was clean. There’s a drive-in theater 66 near by, which the locals love! (We did too) We enjoyed our stay and recommend other campers to check it out.

We stayed here as part of an RV caravan tour with 25 rigs. The owners were very nice and helpful, they even provided our group with donuts for our travel day meeting. The dog park is nice and the park overall is well maintained and very peaceful. I would definitely go there again.

The bathroom and showers have recently been remodeled. They are spacious, very clean and have great water pressure. The sites are large and level with full hook ups and lots of trees for shade. Big Red Barn was a great find. Convenient to roads yet so peaceful and quiet! The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Wasn’t rooms but instead beautiful big trees over level RV spot. Quiet campground off a county road not far from the freeway but no noise. Close to downtown Carthage so you can explore. Big Red Barn staff very friendly we were led to our site. Would definitely stay again should we be coming this way.

We had a group of 8-9 rigs and the pavilion and indoor space—-with oven, were perfect for 20+ people to congregate. Nice facilities, accommodating ownership……a great time was had by all. Thanks so much!

We are long time customers! And we absolutely love this area to camp! Our daughter lives near by. And it’s absolutely gorgeous with the beautiful trees and quietness. We are here in May during Mother’s Day. I see they upgraded grills! And they were very nice letting us check out a little past check out. See you in August. New Management is doing a wonderful job! See you soon again! We had our Class A so we didn’t utilize the rooms!

What a clean, peaceful and relaxing RV park! The new owners are super friendly and accommodating! Almost 60-level sites and they’re all pull through so can’t get much easier than that. The birds are just as happy as I am to be here!💜💜

Been here many times as a stopover on I44. Great place with clean bathrooms. Nice and quiet, lots of space for your site. Great trees and grass. Nice management.

Under new management. Troy and Thea. These 2 are greatest hosts. The park is very clean and well kept. Near the highway but just far enough to make you feel like you're in the wilderness. Very reasonable rates.

Very disappointed. The location was very good and the park was spacious and clean, but there was no staff to greet us, the advertised library and pool table were behind a locked door. We called and left a message. We were there for 2 days and received no call back. The bathrooms were adequate at best. This park could be so much better. We've been on the road for 2 years and this was one of the biggest disappointments from the website listings to what it actually was.

My husband and I enjoyed our 6 day/5 night stay at this charming, quiet park. Lots of trees and level Gravel pull thru. We enjoyed seeing rabbits, horses and hearing the song birds. We even heard an owl. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area.

Gorgeous RV park! We reserved online and got there after the office was closed, but we didn’t have any trouble getting to our spot. The park is clean. There are beautiful bird sounds all around. Mature trees! It was perfect!

Didn't use showers, got in late, left early. Great pull through, pretty level. Clean, quiet. Shady. Recommend it. We'll return if we're in the area. Reasonable prices.

We only the spent the night, but the experience was memorable. Greeted by a friendly smile, fresh cookies and an escort to our pull thru site. Well maintained and clean. Very peaceful, easy navigation. I will happily stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.
